Unisex Adult 5 Tie Oxfords

First, I ordered these Doc's in my normal shoe size of 13, I wear 13's in pretty much everything, Teva sandals, other Doc's, running shoes.... you get the point. These were way to snug in size 13 so I returned them and decided to find something else as these were not available in any larger size at the time. I had just thrown out my previous work shoe, a Keen slip on and I needed to replace them as I was returning to work in another week (Bridge officer on a ship, working 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off for 12 hrs. per day). I went back to these same shoes and luckily found them in a 14 so decided to try those as I really liked the looks of them, they are SHARP looking. The 14's fit like I think a shoe should, enough toe room to wiggle my piggies, no slip on the heels and a comfortable insole. These Dr. Martens have a removeable insole unlike other Dr. Martens I've had in the past, so when these insoles wear out, I can replace them with favorite smart feet insole. I'm not sure what material these are made of, but the listing says, "Black Extra Tough 50/50 & Black Ajax", it is some sort of mesh (woven fabric) that seems like it will hold up way better than leather. You won't be able to shine or polish them like you'd be able to with leather, but I don't think you'll need to as it seems like a very robust material that shouldn't scuff like leather. These are a VERY black shoe, they seem to sort of just absorb the light but do have just a touch of a sheen or shine to them. I am very happy I found these in my size, consider ordering a size up, or just know that you may have to return them for a larger size. The outer sole is normal Dr. Marten comfort, that I have loved for decades, and why I keep coming back. The price on these seems very reasonable ($67.50) and if they hold up like I think they will I wouldn't have an issue paying more for them, and again they look great.

If you value quality, comfort and style, Docs is it. The shoe can feel tight in the toe at first. There was a crease that pushed down on my foot and it was kind of painful. But I can't use this against the quality, actually it is a mark of good materials and construction. Good shoes require a break-in season. What I did a few nights was to try to work it out, I would twist it and bend them to get it to loosen up that toe. It took about 3 weeks. So please don't return the shoe for that reason, because once their broken-in, you have a very comfortable, long lasting shoe. Doc's are still beloved after five or six decades of being in business. The canvas is a very durable material. I just wish they'd make this shoe or the bonnie chukkas with a rubber sole, or at least with a black sole. Also, I love the laces, they never have snapped on me. Maybe they could make the shoe with a safety toe someday? Either way I'll still have a pair.

First off the shoe itself is great, it feels comfortable and the exterior is very sturdy and well constructed at least from general observation. Sadly I have to exchange these for a smaller size. I wear size 8 in vans, 7 in steel/composite toe shoes, and 7.5 in converse original. These shoes in a men’s 8 are too huge, two inches extra on my feet. I started my return and went a size down to match my work shoes. I will post a follow up there and update this review once I receive them. But for those saying they run true to size or matched their vans sizes are lying. There’s a reason the brand has their unique sizing chart which I should have followed instead of reading the reviews on here.

These dr martens are amazing to wear while I am in and out of the shop talking with the mechanics and checking out the vehicles don't have to worry about slipping and my feet don't hurt

One of the shoes came with a stain on the top, I will be returning them because of this. The shoes themselves are super comfy and well made though. Size is accurate with it running on the larger side.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my brother and he loves them!! Perfect fit. He wears a 10.5 US size so I purchased the size 10 and it was perfect! Great Quality! Gorgeous shoes!

Bought these for work. I work in catering and in a kitchen. I am on my feet all day. These have been night and day in comparison from the Walmart non slips I have been buying. Got em on sale for $67.50. Definitely worth it!

The quality of these boots was top notch. Love the color and the thickness of the material was nice but not too thick size was a little off but had that fixed with an exchange. Overall quality of fabulous tread is awesome on the warehouse, I have great traction on even wet slippery floors. These hands down were the most comfortable shoes/boots I’ve ever purchased right from day one, no wear in time at all!!
