GhostCover Touch Premium Trackpad Protector with Matte Finish for 2019-2023 MacBook 16" Pro/Max M1/M2/M3 (Trackpad)

the touchpad on my gaming laptop was very worn, it used to be 'matte' and it was feeling 'glossy'!! really horrible to touch. I searched everywhere and this was pretty much the only film cover I could find, yes it is for apple macbook but I have a pc gaming laptop. I had to cut it to size but it fits perfectly and now feels and looks so much better! I have that original 'matte' feel back lol :)

Protectors come nicely packaged without excessive plastic; basically arriving in a nice, minimalistic rip-strip to open cardboard folder.The package contained 2 protectors, so it was easy enough to just leave the spare in there for when I need it if you open it relatively carefully.Installation had the now customary detailed instructions and links to online, but if you’ve installed any kind of protective film/skin for a phone or similar in the last few years, the format’s much the same; hinge of tape to position it, bottom film, top film sort of number. Easy and, even though I was admittedly a bit ham-fisted with it, I managed to install it without any bubbles and with as full trackpad coverage as you’d expect. I would say it’s almost invisible when installed, and even looking at it now knowing it’s there, it’s hard to tell it is.In use, I haven’t noticed any less responsiveness or accuracy from the trackpad. You will definitely notice the slightly more matte feel to the protector though, which feels almost like a “paper like” iPad screen protector or something. It doesn’t really bother me too much, and even my friend who’s an Apple purist surprisingly actually preferred the feel of it with the protector installed.All in all, great trackpad protector and I’m so glad to have some protection on there. The price is a bit steep for what it is, but I guess that’s what you pay for when it’s been properly machined/cut and is made of decent materials, and is a small price to pay to ensure your very expensive laptop stays box fresh and functional as long as possible.

Perfect protection for MacBook touchpad.

This seems great as it literally only just fits and took me ages to get it to sit correctly due to that it would be great other then that but it still has some air bubbles so it feels over priced for what it is due to that, if there wasn’t any air bubbles it would look pretty much invisible and be great so I hope I have better luck when I get around to trying to fit the second one as it’s not like I’ve never put a protector on anything before. Only 3 stars due to issue I had and considering its price and still getting that issue and how hard it was to fit it.

Honestly, right off the bat, this is perfect! If you’re worried about being able to see the protector, don’t be. It’s literally impossible to know if there’s a protector there or not. The only thing I will say is that initially, the feel is ever so slightly different to the trackpad feeling but it very quickly feels normal and you forget that it’s there. Worth getting!

I love the fact that you don’t notice there’s a skin on your MacBook trackpad, yet it’s there. It’s stealth and smooth, and does not affect the sensitivity of the trackpad at all. Really great product.

Exactly what I was looking for. Easy installation, great protection, matches color and has a nice slightly rough texture which I actually prefer over the natural smoothness of the trackpad. Good price too, you get 2 in pack. Recommended.

Vienen 2 micas. Pensé que le quedaría a la air de 13 pulgadas pero no, le queda un poco grande y la tuve que cortar. Al ser azul media noche si se nota un poco la mica pero es del tamaño de la pro de 14 y en el color gris espacial no se nota nada.

I don't often leave reviews, but I feel like this seller deserves a huge shout-out for their 5-star service.The Product:I purchased this for someone else, but I do have the exact same one on my 2019 MBP. It's the second one I've had (the first was removed by Apple Support during a warranty repair), and I would never own another Macbook without installing these protectors. Once installed, you literally can't even tell they're there (I also have a touch bar protector, keyboard protector, and two rugged laptop cases of the same brand.).I've had the current one on my MBP for four years now. They don't fade or yellow (although I find the keyboard protectors do after a while), they don't peel, and they don't have any perceptible effect on the sensitivity of the touchpad.Considering the financial investment these new Macbooks are, it's worth the extra few dollars to make sure they're protected, and I haven't come across another brand that I've loved as much as these.I 100% Recommend this product!!!The Service:I purchased this along with some other accessories and a Macbook Pro as a gift for a family member who lives far away from me, and I had planned on shipping everything together. I didn't realize when I ordered that the delivery date for this item would be much later than the rest. Once I received the Mac and the other accessories and was ready to ship everything, I realized this protector was missing.I checked the order status and it said it wouldn't be delivered for another 9 days. Too late to ship out the gift package on time. I didn't want to have to ship another package at a later date, so I reached out to the seller, explained my situation and requested a return.I received a reply stating that the request had been approved and a prepaid return shipping label was sent within a couple of hours of me making the request. I also received a message from the seller letting me know that they had reached out to the shipping carrier and that the package would be delivered before the anticipated delivery date, in case that might work for me. They also stated in their message that if I still wish to return the protector, I can slep the prepaid label on it and send it back when I receive it, no problem at all.Unfortunately, I need to ship the package today and the protector won't be here until next week, so I'll be proceeding with the return once I receive the product, but I didn't expect a prepaid shipping label and for the seller to go out of their way to call their shipper and try to expedite things for me. Blown away by the exceptional customer service. I would definitely not hesitate to buy from this seller again!
