I have used these boots for about 11 months and they have given the very best service. Extremely comfortable boots and have been pretty durable, have been submerged in water, mud, and concrete and are still giving good service. I have found out that the insoles are the weakest link and they begin to tear up rather quickly. But by far these boots are inexpensive for the quality. Although Rockrooster has changed the soles of their new boots from a crepe and hard sole to just a vibram wedge sole.

First off let me say I’m a big guy, 350 to be exact.I’m in Automotive, I pound the concrete all day long 6 days a week. I have tried every make and model boot there is in the last 32 years. I can’t say enough about my ROCKROOSTER’s. They fit amazing right out of the box. They are now broken in properly and believe me when I say they are even more comfortable than ANY other boot I’ve worn. As far as performance, they do exactly what their claimed to do. Nonslip soul ✔️ oil resistance ✔️ premium leather ✔️ all day comfort ✔️These are PREMIUM QUALITY boots at an affordable price. Oh one more thing, I also have Plantar fasciitis. My feet feel rested when I come home after a 10 hour shift. I’m telling you these boots are the real deal.

PROS: 1. Loved the wedge outer sole.2. Really liked genuine leather.CONS: 1. Tongue would slide outwards on both shoes.2. Foam insert was too thick & unstable with weight applied (ME).3. Insole made out of pressed cardboard instead of something more durable.I decided to return.

So about 2weeks into owning these.I work as a truck driver so various conditions.Comfort 5* small break in period at the ankleWater resistant not proof. I felt water seep in through the welt when stepping in a few inches of water.The leather is fake I assume as its seemed to be flaking off after getting muddy and wiped them down with a wet cloth and saw it flake. Real leather would have more durability. Ive never experienced that in work boots.All in all happy for the peice they even included laces and socks not the most slip resistant also not composite toe. Tough leather like shell but won't stop a crush injury.If your a warehouse worker or just on your feet all day in mild work conditions these are great. If you're a construction worker I don't think these will last very long as these soles in my experience although comfortable don't last long and the leather will probably rip. Worth a try but I haven't even been through rough conditions yet they are scratching and tearing easily.We will see how long these last but for what I do now. I would buy again but wish it had a safety toe.

I want to like the boot. But they destroyed my heel. And I can't return them now cause I wore them.

I love Vibram soles and I love 6" work boots.I ordered a pair of 12, "x-tra wide" with some hesitancy that the boot would not be wide enough.Sure enough, the boot IS NOT, wide enough. I did not look at the available reviews because the information was there.The overall quality of the boot looks terrific and the price is also very good.Cant decide to keep or return the item.The boots come with a very comfortable in-sole that is removable. With the in-sole removed the boots fit.Without the insole the comfort level goes down.I think what most aggravates me is that the box that the boots come in is marked, width=EEE.But no where in the boot itself is the width marked inside the boot.Makes me wonder if there is any real distinction in widths in the actual boots.

Where have these boots been all my life? In a warehouse, I'm doing close to 15,000 steps a shift on polished concrete floors; these boots take the pain away. My knees, hips, back, shoulders, and neck don't ache at the end of my shift. At first and with no cut-out heel, I thought they looked a little gimmicky, but the soul is a 3/4 of an inch thick anti-fatigue mat. They're so soft and they help with my posture. There's an ever-so-slight downward slope inside the shoe, your foot isn't exactly parallel to the floor, and this prevents my knees from locking and slightly rolls my hips forward which aligns my spine and further dampens the concrete floors toll on my body. Also, I've stepped in liquid soap and oil without trouble. Most 'non-slip' soles will have some give on slippery surfaces and before they connect, but these are the first true 'non-slip' soles I've ever come across. No give at all, just grip. Grip for days. Did I mention my coworkers love their looks? They're quite fashionable (trendy) with their light treads contrasting with their darker uppers. I was concerned with keeping them clean and bright, but they wipe off easily. The leather is good, thick, and textured. The laces are just the right length - no floppy bunny ears. The fit is amazing. From years of being barefoot and standing most of my day I've got what I like to call duck-feet. The wide version of these gives my feet a good amount of room to flatten throughout the day, but isn't so roomy that I'm rubbing holes through my socks. It's about as good of a fit as I've ever come across. They have what I would describe as a 'sturdy toe'. Its not a safety shoe but I'll stand up to and take a beating all while keeping you toes happy. If you can get over the brand name, you wont be disappointed.
