The straps on my favorite handbag were cracking, and this tape fixed it! Don't know how long it'll last, but it looks great now. I bought several brands of leather repair tape, and they all had different sheens, texture/grain, and thickness. Some were too matte, too shiny, too thick (better for leather upholstery repair), not flexible enough, or texture that didn't match. This came the closest to what I wanted. Since I had to wrap around a small area, I liked that it wasn't too thick, plus being thinner it barely shows the white edges of the tape. And it's flexible and somewhat soft, so hopefully it won't crack. Easy to work with too, and took very little time to apply. I've attached pics of before and after. It's not going to be perfect because, well, it's tape. But you can't tell from more than a few feet away. I'm happy!

Update. I received a new roll and it worked better than the original. So the first one probably wasn't a good roll. I purchased this to patch up scratch marks made by my cat. And the tape just does not want to stay put. It won’t stop coming off. So maybe it’s just my couch was different material or something. But it did not work for me

I have an office desk chair that kind of gets jammed underneath the vinyl on the arms of the chair was ripped and worn. i ordered this in attempt to repair the chair. The product is easy to use just clean area, remove liner and patch with the adhesive vinyl strip. When I used this I tried to trim the vinyl strip to fit perfectly and well that was a mistake. I mean it worked but I just feel that the product would last longer if I had left the strip whole rather than attempting to fit the shape of the previously damaged. I would buy again in future for repairs on same chair but without attempting to trim/shape the strip.

Not 100% sure if this is the small roll or the large roll I bought but in any case, I like it. With time I'm sure it needs repair again but so far I am happy with the results. If I ever am going to buy a desk chair again it will be fabric, not pleather. (Fake leather) Pleather is an awful product. I have several pleather chests/toy boxes that got some tears and rips so I'll slap some of this repair product on there too.

Product peeled off even after pre cleaning the chair with rubbing alcohol. The adhesive stayed on the chair but came loose from the patch.

This was a perfect color match for my couch. It was east to apply and seems to be holding up great.
