Fugoo Style XL Portable Waterproof Speaker with Bluetooth - Sand/Black (Renewed) …

After a long research online (Clavinetjunkie on youtube is one the most detailed product review channels) and comparing with JBL Xtreme I decided to go with Fugoo XL. For a refurbished product, the unit that I received, was in really good condition ( there were some spots on fabric exterior and some nicks on the bottom but almost unnoticeable ). The product came in its original box with a manual, power supply and USB cable. The battery was about 1/4 charged when the speaker was first turned on. There were some delays in Bluetooth connectivity with my Samsung Galaxy S5 at first, but after deletion of all connected devices on the speaker the unit was connected to my phone and later to a tablet without any issues. The sound quality is pretty good for a speaker of this size. Overall it's a good product for a good price. Will update in the future.

The Fugoo XL itself would seem to be a pretty good speaker. But I didn't listen hard enough to these reviews. When I got it, I noticed that it sounded like the tweeter was blown on some songs. I never found out for sure if it was definitely broken or if it was just certain songs.Regardless, the device stopped charging within a few weeks. I have noticed in several reviews that something seems to go wrong with the charging port on many of these. It looks like that could be the issue with mine as well. I will probably spend more time researching other devices before I think about buying a new version of this.

The price I got this speakers for is what made me buy it the second time. I initially owned one previously and I gave it to my relatives upon traveling, and when I returned home, I saw these on Amazon for under $100!!! This speaker is loud! It is clean and the listening experience is addicting. The sound does not sound as it is coming from a Bluetooth speaker at all! The only thing that it may have a little distortion when turned up too loud as some songs lacks clarity, not sure if that's the speaker or the source of the downloaded music. I would recommend this bluetooth speaker to just about any audiophile!

Incredible sound quality, very loud, very crisp. Love the weight and size of this thing, and it's gotten slightly wet a few times but I have not truly torture-tested this thing yet. Love the fact you can remove the sleeve, use an AUX .ca me in addition to Bluetoothing my phone, and that U can charge my phone and ecig off this beast when I'm camping. All I need is a car charge adapter!Also for being a refurbished unit, it came with all original cords and necessary parts, clean as a whistle, undamaged, and came in original packaging including the manual. Couldn't be happier with it.

Sound quality is really good, came in box and looked brand new. Unfortunately the battery life lasted only around 6 or 7 hours before dying. Farflung from the 30+ hours advertised. I really like the sound quality and look and feel of the speaker though, and will most likely just purchase a new one.GREAT sound quality, nice to not worry about the rain.

Great sound and good for parties. With the 360 degree sound you can place it in the middle of a party and everyone gets good sound, not just the people in front of it. I would give it 5 stars but it's exactly as loud as my 6 year old Bose Soundlink and I was hoping it would be louder. But again the 360 degree sound allows for better placement so it's not always necessary to crank it up. Nice speaker with great sound. Not ready to weigh in on battery life yet but I will update after I've had a chance to run it down a few times.

Nice sound. I use it with my Samsung TV. I'm a bit deaf from too much rock n roll so need a little help. I put this on my end table so it's just a foot from my ear and makes listening to and understanding TV possible.Added 11/3/17 - My speaker died last night - I tried calling their support and did receive an email response but no call back. I'll change this review if this is resolved to my satisfaction but I find it hard to believe a speaker that has done nothing but sit on my end table plugged in should fail so soon (within 6 months).11/17/17 The company I bought this from would not replace my speaker but Fugoo replaced it without any problem so I give Prime Deal low to no points but Fugoo really impressed me with their exemplary customer service. I'll be sure to but directly from Fugoo next time.
