Long story short, I keep these in my purse, because the bottle is small and handy. I was so hungry but was busy and didn’t want to stop for fast food, I reached into my purse for a candy bar, but grabbed this small bottle of berries, to my surprise just munching two of these small crunchy berries immediately satisfied my hunger. This was unexpected to say the least but they got me through the next half hour until I could get to something more nutritious than a candy bar. I occasionally buy candy bars and leave them in my purse in the event of an emergency. I was so pleasantly surprised that these berries kept me satiated. The price is a bit much for the amount of berries but, the berries are very effective. They have a lite crisp crunch and melt in your mouth, they are vey sweet and have a mild tangy flavor. The intensity of the flavor comes up fast, and is sharp to the tastebuds, but it stops just before it could be considered sour, and so is a very unexpected and pleasant to the pallet. I saw this product on shark tank and immediately checked Amazon to see if they carried it. Yay, I thought when I saw it was available, but it was a high demand item so it took a week or so to get, that is the only down side to this product. The price is a bit much, but like most things you are paying for the packaging and manufacturing cost. It’s a great product. I recommend it if you are on a weight loss journey, or if you are a prepped.

My husband gradually lost his sense of smell around 10 years ago. Sadly, over the past 2 years he has now completely lost his sense of taste. We purchased the berries after watching a program in tv about them being grown in Queensland and how, by eating a berry just before a meal, the sense of taste will be restored, long enough to enjoy it. Although I did a test by eating a berry then sucking on a lemon, resulting in an amazing almost saccharin taste, my husband still tasted nothing. I understand that it’s best line of use is for people having undergone chemotherapy, leaving an unpleasant and permanent metallic taste in their mouth. It didn’t work for my husband’s loss of taste of unknown origin.

This is a fantastic product but you must be aware of one thing! This, once opened, has a limited effective life. After about 30 days it quickly becomes almost worthless. So, definitely only buy what you need short turn. Maybe freezing it would help but I have not tried that. Hope this helps.
