Super this k and chunky and really really warm. Big enough for any head size I think, as it has a good amount of stretch and is really roomy. The black one is the third colour I’ve bought this hat in. They are great. They have a lot of room and my big fluffy ponytail fits just fine. They don’t shrink at all in the wash and I don’t find them itchy at all. They also haven’t gone all bobbly like some knitted-type products do after a few washes. I really like them. A little pricey but they are often reduced on Amazon and worth a little extra than their alternatives. Even handmade woolly hats I’ve had aren’t this thickI have been in hospital for a long time and often end up sleeping in these. They’re that comfortable. If you were wearing them under a helmet I think you’d shave to loosen the helmet because they’re that thick, ,but perfect protection from the elements if you are outdoors, and really comfortable to slouch around in indoors. One of my favourite beanies and definitely my thickest.

If you have a cold head this cap will soon put that right for you + it doesn’t make your head itch. It’s quite a heavy wool that’s why it’s so warm & snug on your head!

Double layer, too. Probably the warmest hat/ beanie I have ever owned.Yes, made in PRC but ofa rather good quality.It will cost you a price of a pint, nowadays. Go for it, find out for yourself. It is a comfy and warm hat for even the coldest of the Scandinavian winters. What not to like ?I love it.

Great hat but very big , nice and warm though

I thought the reviews talking about how big this hat was must've been looking for an Ali G style beanie, and that they were probably being hyperbolic in their descriptions of its size. Nope. This thing is the biggest wooly hat I've ever seen, so much so that I laughed when I put it on. Imagine the biggest, chunkiest man in the world. Now put a hat on his head that's far too big for him. Then take that same hat, and imagine it on your head. Then take that hat off, pop it back in the bag and send it back to Amazon.

It’s a very thick hat would be my main observation, I didn’t realise that before I bought it but I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth and quality of it, definitely a nice one to have if it’s freezing or if it gets very cold.

The hat is very big and doesn't look right on My head. Not a good style at all. Very sagging on top.
