Joker Big Bang! Funny Popping Toilet Seat 1.25" Prank, Silver

The instructions don't really say how to place the device. I was hoping for something that would pop when the person sits on the toilet, but that's not how it works. It has a sticky tab on the top that you adhere to the underside of the toilet lid. I had to place the cap in, set it like a mouse trap, and carefully close the toilet seat lid while holding it in place until the weight of the lid was on it to hold it. It is set now and I am impatiently waiting for my husband to use the bathroom. Even though it doesn't go off when sitting down like I had hoped, I am sure it will still be quite a shock!

Endless fun with this thing! You can put it under anything. Doesn't have to be a toilette seat (gross). The best thing is that once you have done it a time or two, the victim then gets paranoid and you can constantly build the tension by making them think you have placed it under something so that they never know where it really is. I should have bought two just in case one gets lost or for the double whammy! Seriously, this thing is good, harmless fun :D

The item needs caps for it to work, and where one gets those caps remains to be determined. This amounts to a complete waste of time and money. Don't buy this useless item. Find something else.

Has worked every time. The other reviews are correct as far as they don't mention you need the caps to use this item. i have used this in a number of ways NOT including the toilet. Use you imagination and you will find other uses for this. I get my adult sons all the time. They touch everything with caution. Very funny to watch them be apprehensive to touch stuff.I always get the look when they get ready to touch stuff. I have to hide it so they don't use it against me. I know its just a matter of time before they get me back..

You put it under a comic book. Someone walks in and says, "Whats this comic book doing here?" It goes, bang. You put it under a coffee cup. Someone picks up their morning coffee. It goes, bang. You put it under the toilet seat. Someone uses the toilet. It goes, bang. Now how about I talk for ten minutes about where I got these Peachy Penguins?

The product description leaves out a critical piece of information. YOU MUST ALSO BUY CAPS for this to work. You set it like a mousetrap and it smacks down on the cap to create the bang. Nowhere does it tell you where you can buy the needed strip caps. It has a peel off sticky back for securing it to your chosen surface. This negates the surprise effect for repeat users - as a toilet would tend to have. It sounded like a fun idea but turned out to be pretty lame since it requires caps to use and once its stuck to a surface it can't be moved to a new one for continued pranking. I would have returned it but the postage wasn't worth it.
