Not a bad book, but it’s American so half the advice is not relevant in the uk. Touches some subjects but plenty of important topics missing. Not quite what I was hoping for.

I love this book. As a mother of teenagers it's really great to be able to give them this as after a while they stop hearing your voice and nagging just breeds conflict. Great idea for independence building.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my nephew who is a junior in high school. I'm that aunt who buys one fun gift and one useful gift. This definitely fell into the useful category. It has a lot of great info on adulting issues and it's an easy read for teens. I can see this becoming a bit of a reference down the road...something you pick up again when you have a question. And, he actually liked it and took time to look thru it. And that's saying something!
