Grain-free. No more bad breath - yes, but BONE FRAGMENTS?
Updated Aug. 18, 2016:Unfortunately, after being more than a year of loyal Wellness canned food fans, we're disappointed to discover excessive amounts of bone fragments in the Chicken & Herring as well as the Turkey & Salmon pate options. Since April 2016, we've been going from retailer to retailer to sample all three sizes 3oz, 5.5oz, and 12oz cans of the mentioned flavors just to see if one retailer was selling inferior versions of the great Wellness products. To our double disappointment, the bone fragments were present in the products sold by Amazon, Chewy, Petco, and Petsmart. This just means that Wellness as a company is failing in quality control and to its loyal patrons.Let's face it. Yes, it's a first-world problem. However if you're even reading this, it means that YOU DO CARE about your royal felines. It also means that you're shopping for premium cat food and are (reluctantly) willing to pay promising companies like Wellness to deliver the utmost quality your hard-earned money can buy. And it's not like I can easily transition to another brand over night. I've tried and DIARRHEA is not fun, people :(What's going WELLNESS? Did your meat grinder fail earlier this year and no one in your QA department noticed?Old Review from 2015:My kitten was fed Royal Canin from the shelter. So I continued the regiment for a month until I noticed the bad breath and offensive odors from her pee/poop.So I switched her to Wellness complete kitten canned food. Wow, it's like magic to her system. No more bad breath. I'm not running to wash my hands after her love bites now. Pee is also odorless, yes, odorless. The poop is no more offensive than our #2s. Can't complain about hers when we're no angel in this area lol.People complain about the ingredient carrageenan but it's really choosing the least evil of all the options and formulas. She enjoys her Wellness grain-free food. Nature's Variety doesn't contain this ingredient but my kitty won't go near it.So one step at a time. Keeping her on wet food only really helped with the constipation too.

Great cat food with limited ingredients
This is great cat food with limited ingredients. The only reason I got four stars is my cats. Don’t like the taste and won’t eat it. My cats are very picky about what they eat. I’m sure it’s fabulous with other cats.
