How to meet the Rich: For Business, Friendship, or Romance

Perfect For Those Who Currently Have Little And/or Minimal Mentorship/Interaction Outside of Their Modest Income Class (Such As
Despite being aware (from a yahoo article) that various public companies/media outlets have ways to legally track what a person privately orders online and then can obviously make guesses on what they are going to write about in the future I must mention that: I preface this review by emphasizing that I followed my conscience in getting permission from my husband beforehand when deciding to review How To Meet The Rich: For Business, Friendship, or Romance by Ginie Sayles. Additionally, Iβm thankful for where my husband and I live and the fact that we both have jobs. However, my husband and I live in a diverse but segregated (both across racial groups and socio-economic classes) neighborhood where it is challenging to tactfully/subtly initiate help, information, and guidance on tips for financial and/or professional success from men and women from both higher middle and upper socio-economic classes unless one is already employed in certain private sectors (such as nanny, housekeeping in hotels, college), employed in the government sectors etc. , and/or have strategically made time outside of their employment hours to do so such as through volunteering and/or other legal/respectable avenues etc. How To Meet The Rich; For Business, Friendship, Or Romance by Ginie Sayles contains among some of the following details:Pages 7-39; The Various layers of Class such as lineage, memberships, education, social savvy, political clout, travel sophistication etc.Controversial chapter on ways that a person can meet the rich (pages 171-196): through a school that a child goes to (for those who are parents), volunteer for a political party, volunteer for a medical charity etc.Living richly even on a modest income (pages 187-196): ideas such as decorating an apartment even on a budget. There is much more helpful information in How To Meet The Rich by Ginie Sayles. I just happen to intuitively sense that I must avoid disclosing more out of respect for both the author and those who have yet to purchase the book.

I just got this and cannot wait to begin. This book seems already worth the money because it's not just a list of places to meet people but it also has a whole plethora of information concerning navigating the spaces to dressing to conversation techniques, romance to business to everything else. I CANNOT WAIT to level up my life to better quality.

A bit dated but still useful
Very interesting and easy read. I finished it in one 3 hour sitting. Ginie is a great author and I will gladly buy more of her titles. I felt a majority of the information was useful and can be applied to almost anyone, however a bit of it was a bit dated (which is fine because I can distinguish and adapt- example: the professional organizations listed a website could have been helpful). One thing I was hoping for more of was what kind of a better image to project when dating, especially online, but I guess that can be found in her other novel about how to marry the rich. Another area I felt was lacking that I would have welcomed was proper etiquette. All in all I'm glad I checked it out.

Absolutely Amazing!
I'm nothing short of impressed with this book. Ginnie Sayles knows her stuff. If you want to get rich clients, friends or a lover, this is the book for you. There's four different parts to this guide and she goes in to a lot of detail in each one. I'd recommend this for college-level business and sociology classes. I would be careful with the advice on how to dress, since the recommendations seem a little old fashioned, but other than that, anyone can use this advice. I'm especially impressed with her chapter on getting comfortable with the rich, because I think most people are pretty intimidated with those of the upper class and may not exactly be sure as to how they should act without coming off as fake. This book is a keeper!

Worth it
Ginie Sayles is someone I basically stumbled on somehow on the web. She's brilliant. I hope someday I could see her in person. This book is really good at describing how to do business with different styles of people. If you're interested in understanding the world of wealth and moving into it, I really recommend this book. She is one of the smartest people I've ever read, and I read a bunch of this crap. So worth it because it's not philosophical, it's realistic and practical, as well as intriguing - windows into different worlds, so to speak. So much information here for climbers and goal-oriented business people.

If you are interested in a book that teaches on appropriate conduct with rich people this is the book for you! In order to achieve real success you'll definitely need to apply the tips daily. I've been a fan of Mrs. Sayles for years and cant wait to share my testimony.

Great Book
She basically explains tips on how to network and make business relationships with those in power. She gives well sought after advice, covering decorum, presence, speaking style, and places that the 'rich' would be, recommended for those curious in succeeding in business. Also, just a note: It's not necessary to buy the newer edition, the first one is exactly the same, just in soft-cover.

Keep Your Chin Up
A charming and practical sociological guide to finding a well-heeled mate, making potential friends or professional contacts. How to dress and behave to merge with your intended group without feeling intimidated or inferior. An amusing introduction to the horrors and hierarchies of snobbery which shows that true class (good manners and broad culture) can take you anywhere, even when some of those you will meet don't have any. Sometimes a little old-fashioned and written for the American market but really applicable anywhere.
