This was not in the instructions, but should be-----The pump should make a low-pitched rumbling noise. Learn this sound, because it's the best way to know it's primed. If the sound is a higher steady hum, the pump is not primed and will run until it burns itself up. For priming, set your plumbing up so you can have a short tubing run from the pump to a valve. This is easy to add to the tube FROM the pump with a tee. When you change bottles, open this valve into an empty bottle until the pump is making a low rumble and water is flowing smoothly into the empty bottle. Typically it only takes 10 seconds or so. Close the valve and the pump should shut off. The pump is now primed and ready.I've had mine for 6 months, and so far so good. It feeds an espresso machine, ice maker, and faucet.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Perfect for my Drink trailer. They work by pulling equal amounts of water from each jug. They both go empty at the same time.

We use this for our fridge to dispense water using 5 gal purified water as we do not want to connect the fridge to the main. The pump is powerful enough. It is a nice gadget to have. I wish it lasted a little longer though. I purchased this in October of 2022. It now has stopped working. I guess you get what you paid for.

I have had this unit since November 2023 and installed it in February 2024. I am using it to provide water to a second side by side fridge water and ice dispenser. It's now May 2025 and the unit is failing. I've used only purified bottled water with it. Now when it gets near the bottom of the bottles of water it continually loses its prime. The level of the water where it does this is getting higher and higher indicating the pump is worn out. We're at 2 inches in each bottle now and I don't expect the unit to last much longer. Also, there appears to be some kind of screw at the end of the first bottle pickup that is rusting. That's so not good. Great idea but not so good quality/durability. I would have expected a life span of a lot more than a year and a few months for something like this.

Compré este producto a mediados de febrero pero hasta hoy lo estoy instalando.Al principio la bomba no funcionaba, no jalaba el agua, saque y metí las mangueras un millón de veces pensando que no lo habia conectado bien. Estaba a punto de retornarlo por que pensé que estaba defectuoso.Hasta que vi a alguien decie que talvez las líneas estaban con aire por eso la bomba no hacía prime y se me ocurrió succionar el final de la manguera de salida con la boca y por fin la bomba empezó a trabajar perfectamente, obvio después lave muy bien el final de la manguera antes de conectarlo a mi refrigeradoraPrueben y van a ver solo tenia aire NO estaba defectuoso miro muchos comentarios negativos a causa de esto.

Unit was super easy to install. Water pressure was great to the fridge with ice maker. Our family of 4 used is heavily. Was very loud (in the basement) but was worth the investment to be able to drink cold water, have ice cubes we would use, and free up the floor space from the water cooler we were using. It just died after about 6 months, but am not sure what the life expectancy is since it is an imported item, who knows.
