Great knife, but I would prefer another Access Card 2.0
Sadly SOG discontinued the Access Card 2.0. I have included pictures of the "Ultra C-Ti" next to the Access Card 2.0. Similar knives, but about $60 apart. I don't mind spending the extra money, but am slightly afraid of the durability of the carbon fiber. Can I open bottles with it or will it chip? Ultimately it's only a four star knife based on value. About a $100 is too much for 5 stars as value is a consideration when rating products in my view. The Cash Card EZ-1 essentially replaced the Access Card 2.0 and is not even close to as good. That's not to say it's a bad knife, but these other two are stellar. Why? Because a flick of the wrist and the blade is open and locked. Want it closed? Push the little button (with your thumb of the hand you're holding the knife with) and it's closed. Not quite locked, but it won't open in your pocket. Yes, you probably need to be right handed, but who cares about left handed people anyway (JK, JK).My other issue with the Ultra C-Ti is the clip. If you look at the photo's the clip on this knife is substantially larger, bulkier and makes the knife thicker. And while I'm busy describing clips, I'll also say it is a less elegant solution. Good news is that like the Access Card, the clip is removable so you can reverse it, so it works from the left side for you lefties. You'll just have to unlock the blade with your index finger instead of your thumb. Just figured this out, so it does work one handed for left handed folks. Why then did I buy the Ultra C-Ti? Because I thought I lost my Access Card 2.0 and can't live without one. This knife becomes my back-up. Should you buy it? Yes, I have a bunch of other pocket knifes (SOG Twitch, a Gerber something something, to name a couple) and I have owned many knives. Nothing compares to either of these. I would love to hear SOG's rationale for discontinuing the Access Card. In fact I wrote and asked them and requested to buy a half dozen. They merely replied it was discontinued and none were in stock--sorta lame response actually. So SOG, if you're listening--WHY?

ONE OF MY UNEXPECTED BEST BUYS OF THE YEAR.
Quality doesn't get any better than this. Extremely light weight and yet sturdy. FITS in the hand well even though it's a smaller knife.Cuts better than a razor blade. Sharpest knife I own. Yes it'll hold some cash and cards. But frankly not as much as a dedicated money clip. But I like the thing so much I just clip it to my belt and use my other money clip. This knife doesn't weigh anything. Yet so sharp and well made. My brother is ex SWAT and swears by this brand. I see why. I'd buy again without hesitation. Find myself using it all the time. Don't even realize it's on my belt. GREAT PRODUCT!

Fantastic EDC knife
A fantastic EDC knife. I selected this for the size, thinness, deep carry clip and blade shape.I am very impressed with the engineering and build quality of this knife. For such a featherweight device I was unsure if there would be some compromises made to rigidity of the frame, play in the blade when locked open, lock/unlock mechanism and play in the fasteners holding the clip to the frame. It's easier to open than I expected, originally thought I might have to add a stud or zip tie to make easy one-handed open, not the case. One handed close is easy as well. I would like SOG to offer a partial serrated blade version of this. I may have my blade customized with serrated teeth at the base of the blade. The steel frame model would be a bargain at the $30 price if it had the same build quality.5 of 5 stars. I would recommend this and I would buy it again.

Great knife for pocket carry
It is one of the smoothest manual opening knives I've experienced and I like how it doubles as a money clip. Super lightweight, sharp out of the box, and barely noticeable in the pocket which is important to me. I like to carry a knife like a gentleman's folder, just put it in my pocket with the rest of the stuff. Because it's slim and light, this works great for that and you don't feel weighed down when wearing shorts.

much more like that of a typical money clip
Expensive compared to other flat knives with a similar design, but worth it in my opinion. I own several knifes that have been suggested they could be used as money clips by various reviewers. All fell short, usually due to the pocket clip design. They had a standard short and skinny clip, that would work well for pocket carry, but not so much for carrying a bunch of bills and cards. This SOG, however, has a longer, wider clip, much more like that of a typical money clip, than the average knife clip. Still works great as a pocket clip, but works even better as a money clip.

Super light
I purchased SOG CASH CARD I loved it so much I ended up getting this as well. So far it’s my favorite EDC knife. Super light and sharp right out of the box. I took my money clip out and you will not notice you have knife in your pocket thats how light it is.Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Awesome EDC that is very sharp and very light weight!
I have many knives in my collection and this one is one of my favorites for its compactness, sharpness and edge retention and extremely light weight. Also love SOG's locking mechanism which is one of the more innovative. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in a small, but potent EDC knife.
