I have been using Hagerty's silver polish for more years than I want to put down here. It is the finest polish there is. While it may be more expensive, it is for a reason. Works great

My old silverware from the 40's was given to me by my father. I have enjoyed it in the past and I plan on giving it to my oldest daughter if she wants it. The silverware has been shut up for many years has varnished whether badly. I have cleaned some of it and what I have cleaned has been improved. The varnish is doing a fairly good job.
