Not worth the value. Not special as I believed.
The fabric is a lot thinner than I expected. First day out, the wind blew it inside out. The handle is sturdy but heavy. A firmer fabric would be better. When I popped it out later, I got splashed. I thought the inverted one would be different. In terms of value for money, it’s too costly for what I have. I don’t use the bag. It’s not handy. But at the end of the day it’s an umbrella. Did it shelter me from the rain? Partially.Edit: Customer service contacted me about the review and I was impressed. Sent me a totally different replacement product. I contacted them to let them know so I could send it back and have what I purchased but no response. Seems they were just keen on me giving them 5 stars for the double refund they promised without actually earning it. Which btw was never sent. Makes me distrust all the 5star reviews I see for this project or from this seller. I told them from the start I wasn’t about that life. Integrity is everything.

Perfect for the British summer
Having purchased many folding umbrellas over the years, I have always been disappointed with their poor build quality and short lifespan.I normally spend around £9 or £10 an umbrella and they last just a few months. I decided to spend a bit extra on this Jiguoor umbrella following positive reviews online. And what a difference a few pounds make!It was obvious immediately that this umbrella is a quality product, presented in an attractive black leatherette case. As soon as you hold the umbrella you can feel the difference in weight compared to cheaper models. At a flick of the switch, the umbrella burst into life instantaneously. I inspected the rib assembly, hinge work and canopy material and was impressed with the quality of materials and manufacturing. Another flick of the switch immediately retracts the canopy in super-fast time.Upon using the umbrella for the first time it felt nice and sturdy and kept both rain and wind at bay with ease. I’m confident this umbrella will last much longer than the previous models I’ve purchased and the extra few pounds on the price will turn out to be a wise investment.

Windprooooof!
I bought this to replace a cheap folding umbrella I left in a taxi :-( Its first test was in the stiff winds and rain of Scotland that would have destroyed lesser umbrellas and it came through with flying colours! It is really sturdy. Another thing I like about it is that it extends fully and quickly with just a push of the button in the handle - a function that really saves you getting wet in heavy rains when you are getting out of a car. It takes an extra push to close it because of the strong mechanism but it is not a problem. Its shape protects you well from the rain. The colour and quality of the fabric makes it a stylish as well. It is on the heavy side compared to cheaper portable umbrellas and a bit larger but that actually works for me because it makes me more aware of it so I won't be leaving it in a taxi again. The fact that it is so windproof and protective more than makes up for the extra weight.

Love the inside-out reverse fold
I chose this umbrella over the others being sold on Amazon for a few reasons. The first is the inside out folding mechanism, that is when folded, the dry under side of the umbrella faces out, which helps to keep you dry when it's folded. The umbrella opens with a satisfying thump, giving you a feeling of its sturdiness. The area covered is quite big for an umbrella that folds down to a fairly short length. The only draw back of the short folded length however, is that it's a thicker diameter than normal when folded. It's basically folded in 4 times rather than the normal 3 times of a non-reversed fold.I've not had any issues with it blowing inside out so far, but I'm not expecting it to be completely wind proof though, as I don't believe there is such a thing as completely wind proof umbrella. All in all, I really like this umbrella. It's not perfect, but there are a lot of good things going for it.

It's alright
It's an alright umbrella. Have not yet used the umbrella so I will try and see what it's like. Although I love the close button, it makes a horrendous noise as if something has broken. The handle in itself is quite hard to describe. It is somewhat sturdy but feels like something is loose somewhere because the pole moves quite a bit. There was also a little mark inside which looks like rust although it could just be a stain. To add, there was some threads hanging out. Wasn't quite sure if I should pull it out incase it ripped. Overall it doesn't seem worth the price. I wanted an umbrella that I can use for uni that's quite small and strong so travelling underground would be easier rather than carrying a large stick umbrella. If I was to pay less then I wouldn't have an issue with it but the make of it feels quite cheap.

Great quality umbrella...Updated
Great replacement umbrella. Heavier than your bog standard umbrella but that’s to be understandable due to the mechanics of it. It’s always great to invest in a good umbrella. Ordered the burgundy; it’s a great colour and the fabric is great quality too.Update...Unfortunately the umbrella did experience some trauma from the heavy winds in the UK and one of the spokes has broken. I saw that the umbrella comes with a Lifetime Guarantee, so I contacted the supplier. They were very helpful...they replied to my email within 24 hours, requested photos of the damage, which I sent through to them. They then arranged for me to receive a replacement...free of charge. I appreciate their help and great Customer Service and look forward to receiving my replacement umbrella, hopefully this one will live up to it's name. :-)

EPIC umbrella
Forget what you know about umbrellas. This will transform your life. Once you've pressed a button to open one, you'll never go back to manual again! The quality and finish is superb, right down to the fashionable *ahem* leather cover. Okay, it's a little heavy, but then it doesn't shy away from a strong wind! Kept me dry today during a downpour. Highly recommended!
