Works Great.
I'm using this to connect my Cable modem with a 2.5gig network jack back to my router over single mode fiber. Note that you do need matching SFP+ modules to match the same speed as this is a media converter not a switch. However I am using a 10Gb SFP+ BIDI to connect to my routers SFP+ port. and a MultiGig Copper SFP+ to connect to the modem at 2.5Gb I am using the Wiitek SFP+ to RJ45 Copper Modules, SFP-10G-T-S to do this as they show to 10Gb on the SFP+ Side and do the conversion in the module. Modules that expect the device to handle the 1Gb,2.5Gb,5Gb,10Gb speeds will not work unless both module speeds are matched. Glad these are finally instock I've been wanting these for sometime but had to use a Switch with some ACLs for the MAC address for the modem and router to make sure the packets passed over the switch without the cable modem "seeing" it as the hand the Public IP to the first device they see. This is a much more solid approch

Test connection
Devices will not transmit and receive. Connection lights are on and indicating solid connection. Unfortunately, installed a few weeks past return window... :( ***UPDATE*** Seller came good and offered a full refund for return. I'm not sure if I just got a faulty set, but seller stood by their product. Really impressed.

Poor quality and has integration issues. Not worth the price. Waste of time and money

Works kinda..Ubiquiti switch
I have 10gb showing on switch on boths sides but the switch refuses to talk with each other via 10 gb. Using 2 10Gtek sfp + base sr modules and 1 6COM 10GBase-T with the provided 10G sfp+ copper. Not sure why or why the issue is.
