For years I saw the commercial on tv and said that not true. But I am a true believer! I have been buying can for two years now and it truly works!!! When you feel a cold coming on use it then just as it says.

I like Zicam very much and have used it for many years. It truly works for me and I have given it to my brother and he was pleased that it worked for him. I highly recommend it.

Zinc + EmergenC (before the onset of a cold) = less severe cold. That's my non-scientific conclusion I've come to after my years of using/testing Zicam.Someone told me about this tip years ago, and ever since I started using Zicam and Emergen-C, 1000 mg of Vitamin C, 30-Count—right as I sensed a cold was developing, my colds haven't lasted more than a day and weren't very severe.— PREVENT A COLD —When I say, "right before a cold", I mean that weird feeling in the back of your nose/throat before a cold hits (pay attention the next time it happens). When you get that feeling, start taking Zicam every 4-5 hours, along with one pack of EmergenC a day, and drink lots of water. Repeat this for two days, tops. Once your cold hits, stop taking Zicam, and only vitamin C and lots of water. If you should get a fever, take some Advil. I have done this for nearly every cold for the past five years and my colds have not been bad at all. There were occasions that I didn't take Zicam in time and the colds were bad ("Is there a drug store nearby? I need Zicam right now!").Don't take this if you already have a cold; it will help *before*, not after you get a cold. That's my experience with Zicam. Take what you will from that, but don't consider it professional medical advice. Recommended.*** TIP ***Don't overdo the zinc. Only take it when necessary. I've read that taking too much may reduce your taste bud sensitivity. You don't want that.

I like this flavor, better than the citrus. It does have a “creamier” taste to it. I also like the cherry flavor. These do melt very quickly, and taste great.

I decided on this product due to the "Elderberry" in it. However, not to minimize the fact that these Zinc Losenges type treatment has worked for me in the past as well as the present. For me--I can only speak for myself on this-----it seems that I get the most benefit out of this item and other similar items--is when I start taking it when I first feel the mild symptoms of a cold coming on-----in relation to taking it when I am already in a full blown cold. Everyone is different and your response to taking this may be different to my own experiences.

Love this product. We run to it the fist sign we are getting sick or someone around us is
