Just the job

I wanted some crimping sleeves to help make pulley whip retaining lanyards for land yachting (see photo). We use 3mm and 4mm cord, so only the larger versions of these can be used for my required purpose, that does give me 40 useable pieces from this box. Some of the smaller ones will also find a use creating wire mounts for picture frames.Without an appropriately sized tool they are quite difficult to crimp. I've been using a vice, which does the job reasonably well.At £8 I think the price is fine, though I should probably have gone for a pack of mostly larger sizes for a little more money.

Great value

Excellent value and very easy to use, especially if you use a dedicated set of pliers. Slight gripe, with the smaller sizes is that it is difficult to differentiate between sizes. I inadvertently mixed them up and found it hard work to sort them.

Needed to fix a new washing line. Good assortment.
