This is a cheap dashcam, no doubt about that. But, it's also problematic in many other ways. Mine failed after 7 months, wouldn't even turn on. When I played back the card, it was clear that the camera was not functioning correctly just prior to the failure. It's supposed to record in 3 minute intervals, instead it recorded in random amounts of time. Some files would be 18 seconds, others would be 2 minutes 20 seconds, others would be full 3 minutes, with no rhyme or reason. Also, although the microphone was enabled, it did not actually record any sound. The video quality was meh, it was alright, but not fantastic - though I chalk that one up to the price point. Also the power connector is funky. You plug the USB power into the piece that attaches to the windshield, and then there's a (poor) power pin connection where the camera slides into the windshield piece.When I realized the unit was not turning on at all, I tried to contact seller only to get no reply. It was past the return period so after a couple of tries to get ahold of the company I gave up and bought a more reputable brand. As it stands this unit is not in stock but if it ever is again, buyer beware. Stick to well known and established brands and you'll be much happier.

So I have been shopping around for dashcams for sometime now and they all somehow fail me over time. This time I feel like I might get lucky.For starters, the quality of the video is superb. It's legit 1080p and you can tell right off the bat. The 170degree wide angle is also a handy tool. It totally covers the front of my car and I have no issues with it.I simply plugged it into my car cigarette lighter and bam it automatically turns on and off with my ignition switch. Very convenient.The next sweet thing is the G sensor which will detect any movements on the car while it's switched off and if someone hits your car while the ignition is off, the dashcam will turn on and start recording for a couple of minutes. You select how many minutes you wanted to record for you.The other sweet thing I liked about this brand was the fact that it comes with a 16gb micro so card and that is more than enough for me. They also supply you with a adapter to use in your pc for easily viewing the videos.Over all I am very happy with this unit and can't complain for now. I will be updating my review over time.

I installed this and the first time i used it i noticed something weird. I have parking monitor set as a default. So when i return the my vehicle and open the door, it comes on as though someone is trying to break in or banged into my vehicle, When i place my key in and start the vehicle, the parking monitor goes off, and the dash cam goes off and does not come back on. I had to turn off the parking monitor setting in order fro the cam to come on when starting my Truck. The ease of operation over others i have owned and tried is great. Very easy and i bought this one because the controls are on the front when i can see them instead of the ridiculous place on the sides. I will up this to 5 stars if i get an answer on how to solve this problem.

This is a great performance dash cam that takes very clear 1080P video, that comes with the latest dash cam features, and some extras.First of all I am impressed with the clear video quality and the 170-degree wide angle view of the camera. This provides a great front view coverage of the road. Setting up this dash cam was straightforward I just needed to updated the date and time. The camera will turn on and start recording when I turn on my car and will turn off when I turn off my car. The charging cable is very long and I can route and hide the cable at the side of my car.It comes with the standard feature of G-Sensor in case you get into an accident and it will lock up your file preventing it from being erased. It also supports loop recording with settings of off, 2, 3, or 5 minutes. Older files will be recorded over with newer files if your disk is full. This dash cam also supports Parking Monitor if you choose to use it. If something bumps into your car while parked the camera will record for about 30 seconds. This dash cam also supports a nice performance Night-vision.It also comes with some nice extra items. It comes with a nice size 16GB micro SD card and can support sizes up to 32GB. It even comes with an USB micro SD card reader. It comes with an extra UV lens protector which protects camera lens from abrasion, dust, heat and sunlight exposure. For mounting the camera you can use the suction cup or the 3M adhesive tape. The dash cam has a micro HDMI port so that you can hook it up to your TV for monitoring.Overall, this is a great performance dash cam that takes very clear 1080P video, that comes with the latest dash cam features, and some extras.

Excellent Dash cam. Pros? it really is true 1080p-amazing resolution. No zoom feature, but thats ok, in all honesty, with this resolution you really dont need it. Came out of the box with pretty much everything you need, and the protective screen cover is a nice feature, as well as giving you the option to either suction cup it to the windshield-or glue it to the dash. Came with a nice card reader and easy to read and understand directions, I definetly would recomend this.The only "issue" I had, was the micro SD card that came with it, was defective. It wasnt a huge deal as I was going to buy a bigger one anyway, but, I was still thinking about knocking a star off, because if I buy something I expect everything to work. However, I decided to email the seller to let them know it didnt work-and the seller surprised me, by offering to refund me the amount I spent on the new card, and they did. So, not only did they get the star back for excellent customer service-I would give them a sixth star, if I could. I understand sometimes things dont function right, and I respect a seller who is willing to go out of their way to make it right. Kudos to the seller. I am planning on purchasing another one of these for my other vehicle when I get the money!
