I like the overall part and application, but the larger of the two rivets is too large for your standard DYI rivet tool. I had to improvise like I've seen that others have done.

The shield is very well engineered. Fit is perfect. Easy to install with the right tools.Just make sure you order the correct model and year.

I found a muffler shop called Tuffy on Smokey Row in Columbus OH that did a great job installing this on our 2016 Prius V. He said the 2 part design and strength of this device give excellent protection for the catalytic converter.

I read reviews that say this is easy to install. Great, but I’d still like instructions so that it doesn’t rattle. Should not be hard to create an instruction sheet. Would not recommend.

Easy to install and gives you a piece of mind

Shield fits without any modifications. No rattles, no issues. Ordered Cat Shield along with this one and compared the two. Identical cut, but this one is almost half the cost than the more popular Cat Shield.Highly recommended.

Car was involved in an accident so couldn't install until recently. Didn't fit 2013 Prius as described. Missed return/exchange window.
