If you want to draw/shade/doodle with high-thickness graphite "leads", this holder is your thing. Solid brass, with some decent heft, and a spring-loaded clutch for the "lead" - just wonderful for drawing. I actually have two now - the first was a dark brown oxidised model; now I have bought this golden brass one too. Pretty much perfect EDC for drawing or doodling. Or even marking up music scores for performance!

Chunky and great for putting in your pocket ...nice soft lead

Bought as a partner for my brass fountain pen, and it did not disappoint. Nice and weighty. Only thing I changed was the lead - it came with what I assume to be a B something or other that was just too soft for me, so I found some HB leads that fit.

Lovely weight to it - but not too heavy. It feels comfortable to hold, the ‘lead’ is gripped well by the inner spring-loaded workings. Feels like it’ll last

Highly recommend! There are other good clutch pencils out there, but this weighty brass instrument is in a class of its own. Great engineering and comfortable to draw/ write with.The old world presentation tin adds to this pencil’s style and value for money. I’ll be buying their fountain pen next.

Excellent clutch pencil, weighty, comfortable in hand while sketching - doesn't take up much space in pocket when in the field.

Wow.If you’re an artist you must try one of these.Great for laying down a rough sketch.LOVE the weight of the pencil.Has a built in sharpener that also doubles as a graphite catcher in case you wanna salvage that and use it for a piece.The case it came in is perfect too for holding smaller erasers etc in addition to holding the pencil.Feels awesome to use. Very tactile. Very sturdy.Will be exploring other products in their lineup.5/5

The pencil itself is lovely. But buy it from a different seller, if you can.It arrived without the protective tin shown in the pictures, packed in the thinnest possible plastic bag with no padding. The pencil body is fine, but the one lead broke in transit.And it came two weeks late. When I ordered, I was given a "guaranteed delivery date" that was one week in the future. Five days later, I got an email saying that it would actually be delivered later—arriving 15 days from when I ordered it, instead of seven. (They managed to beat that estimate by one day, so at least it was *only* two weeks late.)

El lápiz es absolutamente fantástico, casi demasiado. Ninguna pieza sobra ni se mueve de su lugar innecesariamente, tampoco parece un objeto endeble, por donde se le vea es un producto de la más alta calidad.El estuche de lata donde se entrega es un bonito plus, ya que puede servir para guardar dos o más lápices de dimensiones similares.En fin, vale cada centavo que se paga por el producto, aunque definitivamente se pueden encontrar opciones mucho menos sofisticadas pero a precio más accesible.
