The total brush is 15 inches long.

Q: What are best ways to clean this brush if one uses for dry brushing? How long do they usually last?

I wash it with shampoo, rinse it and let it air dry. I only use it after a shower on clean skin. They seem to last forever. I have had mine for at least five years and I use it probably once a week. I follow a "brushing" with body cream. My skin has been much smoother since using the brush. I purchased a new one because a house guest used my first one. At that point I noticed the new brush's bristles were slightly firmer than my old one. Love the brush!

Q: As this sounds too harsh for the face, which brush would you recommend for facial dry brushing?

This brush is so harsh for face. I actually use an exfoliating sponge or I make a sugar scrub with lemon. Works amazing. Organic sugar, with a little EVOO or coconut, fresh lemon.
