Metal Panel Mount DC Power Jack - 2.1mm : 321

Purchased this to alleviate my dependency on C batteries for our newborn's toys and such. He has a Graco swing that requires 4-C batteries, a hefty chunk of change to shell out for either alkaline or rechargeables. I found an old 6VDC power adapter I'd saved for just such a purpose and finally had a use for it. I think I paid $8.50 for this adapter on Amazon. I'm pretty sure a pack of C batteries is less than that, but not much. The rechargeables I bought for the crib "aquarium pacifier" cost a hell of a lot more than that! Anyway, A quick disassembly of the swing battery compartment reveal the wires and a little bit of solder and time later, coupled with a freshly drilled hole empowered me with freedom from batteries! The power jack itself is solid. The longer tab bends with some applied pressure if you need it to do so. The jack looks nice mounted on the swing. I'd have no reservations buying another one in the future.

cheap. full of kinks. thin. I got exactly what I paid for. Lesson learned.

and it does what it is supposed to.not sure what else to say.5mm barrel jack with a 2.1mm pin. it does have the hardware for mounting in a hole.
