Do NOT purchase
In less than 4 months, the drive is toast! Cannot reset, cannot log-in, encryption key does not work, huge disappointment. I purchased for my kid to use in college, now everything is lost!

Itâs just an okay laptop
I got this laptop in work to use as large building hvac technical supervisor here are my personal impressions as this is considered a âworkâ laptopPros:Build quality is excellent and comparable to that of my razer blade laptopThe screen has deep blacks rich colors and itâs a great amount of brightnessThe keyboard lights up and is nice to type onThe battery life seems to great16gb ram itâs great and everything is fastSound is clear and crisp as it uses special audioVery portable when Iâm ready to take it to the fieldThe charger is a 650w and itâs fastSlim sleek expensive looking laptopConsItâs 14â screen is not enough for me at work so I requested a displayThe keyboard doesnât have the number pad so again I requested a wireless keyboard and mouse for data entryItâs only 256gb storage and itâs going to fill soonTrackpad is slow had to turn it up to max speed setting idk whySound is not that loudSummeryThis is a good laptop and I really canât complain about it but for the listed price Iâm seeing $1400+ I would just spend that on a MacBook Air with more gigs or a pro or a razer blade base model or even a dell xps (but thatâs the last on my list) as I own(ed) these machines and they outshine this hp hands down. Bottom line thereâs nothing fancy about this laptop other than the build quality. The missing keypad makes it hard for data entry and the screen is too small for me to type out my reports and while I do like it I wouldnât buy it knowing what else I could get for the price.Hope this helps but research more before deciding on this one.CheersChristopher
