Master BOTANICALS Limited Edition 16 Botanicals for Mixology for Gin, Vodka and Rum

This comes well packaged in a high-presentable 9.5" x 9.5" x 3.5" shoe-type box. Inside are a collection of 16 botanical ingredients in individual plastic cases with lid, neatly arranged in a 4 x 4 array. A 10-recipe booklet and stainless steel precision tweezers are also included.The botanical ingredients appears to be of good quality and fresh. They include various spices and flowers for cocktail mixology. These are loose ingredients, so you will need to provide your own cocktail strainer for infusion in gin, vodka, rum, or tequila. They are all-natural and contain no additives or preservatives.I'm pretty new to bartending, so this is a good starter kit for me. The recipe booklet provided has the basic steps for cocktail mixing plus 10 starter recipes with the list of botanicals required but not the amounts. I'll have to do more research on them.All in all, this is an interesting botanical collection for mixology. It would make a lovely gift to your friend or client who are interested in cocktail mixing, or for the bartender in yourself. Mine has a best before date of 20 months from now. Made in Spain.

This is by all means a cool gift idea. I quite enjoy tequila on the rocks, so the idea of mixing in botanicals is something I’ve enjoyed experimenting with. I let the botanicals soak into the tequila so that their flavor profile adds a bit more nuance to the taste. Jasmine flower by far is my favorite. Though as an avid fan of spices, every one of these botanicals is enjoyable for me. the problem is the steep price for the small amounts of every one of these botanicals that you're getting. None of these botanicals are particularly expensive on their own like saffron for example. So even with the nice compilation of botanicals, it feels like you're not getting the best bang for the buck. I feel that about at half price such a wide variety to experiment with is pretty worth it though. And when you figure out through experimentation which botanicals you like most you can find those in larger quantity at a cheaper price for future drink mixing.

I got this to surprise hubby for our vacation and I think I am expecting too much. For the price I thought I am getting the greatest value. Each botanicals are not much and some doesn’t seem to have much scent and flavor on it. Each are pack to a small plastic container and I’m really not impressed. I also hate that it states “recipes” so I thought I’m getting the full recipes as I am not a pro and just wanted to start making drinks at home instead of going out. This are not recipes and just ideas on what the botanicals can be added NOT THE FULL DRINK so I have to search online to know what I can and cannot do.The recipes are also a paper like manual and nothing special. For the price I’m expecting more but was let down big time.

This is a cool little set! I love doing infusions during the summer, like grabbing some lavender or mint from my garden and making simple syrups. This set gives you some creative freedom and take some of the work out - now you don't have to dehydrate rose petals or source juniper berries. Everything is fresh and nice quality. It's packaged really attractively, would make a lovely gift for a culinary centric person. I was a bit underwhelmed by the booklet, its really just a foldout with a few recipes. It's a good starting point and then you can just wing it and try new things. The big tweezers are a nice touch. I like to leave my botanicals to infuse for a few hours in my spirit but you can do what works best for you. I prefer a bold flavor, to be able to tell it's not just straight vodka or gin. I think there's too many peppers in here but that's just preference. Those are also easier to find, I'd love some more unusual botanicals.The little boxes are great for keeping everything tidy and you can reuse them later if you wanted to add other botanicals to your collection. I'm pleased with this set, I just thought the price was a tad high.

I am a big fan of cocktails but hate store-bought mixers to create flavored drinks because they are always overwhelmingly sweet and I'm not a big fan of super-sweet drinks of any kind. This kit comes packaged beautifully and would make a lovely gift. It is a large box full of individual containers of flowers and other botanicals that can be infused into the three alcohols to create really tasty and lovely drinks. There is a recipe book and a set of tongs to pick out the various plant bits.The recipes are very easy to follow and the botanicals only need to steep for 5 minutes or so and then - Hey Presto! - you have a wonderful flavor combination (with ice and the mixer of your choice, typically tonic or orange or lemon drink). The results aren't sweetened so aren't sugary - you can, of course, add as much sweetener as you'd like, but for me the "plain" infusions were perfect. They are subtle and flavorful and you can control the strength by controlling the steeping time and/or amount of alcohol or mixer you add.

The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome way for me to play bartender at home. The easy to follow guide gives great ideas to spice up any cocktail favorite. As soon as you open the box you can smell the aroma from the different flowers and peppers. They all are very fresh and work really well with the suggested drinks. The included tongs make it easy to pick up the delicate spices. This also is very giftable. Highly recommended

This set is perfect for a girls weekend! We had so much fun with our fancy cocktail infusions. There was something for everyone and we could tailor our drinks to our individual likes. It has always been a problem making pitchers for the group as some like sweeter and more complex drinks than others. It was nice to be able to make our own. The presentation is great too. They all come in small plastic containers. It also comes with a set of tweezers. I like that everything was neatly contained in one box. However, it is rather expensive for the amount you get. We would purchase it again as a group for the convenience and had a great time with it.

Die Master BOTANICALS Limited Edition sind in einem schicken Karton Verpackt, der durchaus auch als Geschenkkarton verwendbar ist.Im inneren befindet sich eine in englisch gehaltene Broschüre für 10 Cocktails, einer Pinzette aus Edelstahl und die 16 Gewürze die alle einzeln in einem Plastikbehälter verpackt und sauber angeordnet sind.Optisch auf alle Fälle ein absoluter Hit.Die Gewürze haben alle sehr angenehm gerochen und waren qualitativ in Ordnung.Leider finde ich den Preis etwas zu hoch, der Wert der Gewürze dürfte geschätzt nicht über 15 Euro liegen, da hätte man eventuell ein umfangreicheres Rezeptbuch für Cocktails beilegen können, um den Preis zu rechtfertigen.Auch wenn mir das Master BOTANICALS gut gefällt, für den Preis würde ich es mir nicht kaufen.

Premetto che in genere non bevo super alcolici e che questa valutazione e' basata sulla mia opinione di consumatore medio. Si tratta di una scatola contenete 16 botanici che possono essere utilizzati per aggiungere un sapore (a volte insolito) ai vari liquori.La confezione contiene un opuscolo con 10 ricette dalle quali prendere spunto e con il QR code si puo' accedere al sito dove se ne trovano altre (peccato che siano in spagnolo, ma con un po' di attenzione si riescono a ricreare).La confezione contiene anche una pinzetta per dosare bene i botanici e non toccarli con le mani (cosa che in questo periodo di covid sinceramente non va per la maggiore). Da profana le ricette con il gin non sono niente male. Non le ho provate con la vodka perche' non mi piace.
