Not polished stainless steel.
I have now started to use this set of cutlery and I thought they were polished stainless steel but after a few hand washing "metal" started to peel away from the spoon & the fork tips making both unusable including the unused knife & spoon.I'm buying Sheffield cutlery from now on.
