Mission Product Anti-Friction Cream Tube

I train long distances (55+ mi/wk) and run ultras...and when I started a few yrs ago, I was oblivious to the need for lubrication (in many covert places, as I ruefully discovered). Consequently, I began experimenting with many products - beginning (disasterously) with vasoline from the medicine cabinet. Mission is high-end, very effective stuff which goes on clean (doesn't leave your hands looking like Jack Tatum's) and doesn't have any "goop" factor (doesn't become a tar pit for dirt or even the adventurous bug). Why 4 stars? Because I find that it is inferior to Brave Soldier when it comes to staying power (on which I place a premium) - meaning, I need to reapply more often (which does NOT mean frequently - just more often)- than with the Mission product, which probably has to do the very composition that led me to compliment it! Check 'em out to determine your preference - either will do a great job with the agony of friction burn. Run far, Run slow, Run long.

After getting torn up from another brand of "lubricating" cream, I looked to switch brands. This came up as a suggestion on Amazon, so I decided to give it a try.I'm pleased that I did. Although the ingredients list states that there is some tea tree oil among other things, there is almost no scent to the product. The product works as advertised and has stayed effective for ten miles. This weekend I'll be testing it on a longer run, but ten miles with no reapplication is good in my book.The tube is comparably priced to other brands and a little bit larger, so that's a pricing benefit.It's also made in the US!

Love this stuff!! I am an avid runner and have been using it for years. Regardless of conditions it has always prevented chafing on my arms and thighs. I have tried many other products to attempt saving money but always come back to Mission because it is effective, does not wear off during a long workout and is not greasy.

I was a little skeptical when I purchased this item because I am not an athlete, I just get chafed a little in the summer. This product is great because it last for 4-5 hours depending on how active you are. The stuff I was using before I would have to reapply frequently and if I was already chafed it didn't help. This product provides instant chafing relief. The greatest part is you only need a small amount so it lasts a long time also.

I brought this on a hot vacation and it worked great in keeping my pregnancy sized thighs rubbing themselves into a rash!

I bought this product for my husband who is a cyclist and wanted to try it. He didn't feel like it was better than the Bag Balm he usually uses. It's also pretty expensive for the amount you get. I would not purchase this again.

I previously had used Body Glide as that was all that was recommended or sold by running stores around me. I found this product and have been faithfully using it for the past 2 years. I run over 50 miles a week in the summer and have done a handful of marathons, this product is the only one I have ever used that successfully prevents skin chafing and irritation. It has no odor isn't sticky or greasy, lasts several hours and is very water and sweat proof. Highly recommend.

This is a great product. I used it this summer when I wore skirts to avoid chafed skin and it works great. It doesn't have much fragrance, it's not greasy and lasts for several hours. I highly recommend it!
