For centuries, lovely blue and white bone china sets and porcelain keepsake plates from the Netherlands, China and England were prized for their intricate patterns and traditional artwork. Today, jewelry designer Jessica Lee has found a way to reclaim fragments of broken and discarded plates and recapture the beauty of the original pottery. Shaped segments of the vintage blue pottery are accented with cultured freshwater pearls and set upon sterling silver fish hook ear wires. Each segment of pottery and pearl are set into hand-worked sterling silver bezels, individually shaped to accommodate the organic shapes while providing contemporary style. The china pattern will vary slightly from necklace to necklace, but will retain the blue and white arrangement. 0.25" width x 1.25" drop length. Handcrafted in the USA.
