Much preferred over original Squatty Potty!
Excellent product. My husband discovered the brand name Squatty Potty a couple years ago and now swears by it; he can go to the bathroom and come right back out in literally 2-3 minutes when he uses that thing. It’s a weird little miracle worker. (So if you’re wondering if the toilet stool idea is just a gimmick, I can tell you that it’s not!) But personally, I hated the squatty potty (SP from here on)... we have a 750 sq.ft. apartment, with a tiny bathroom to match, and that is not the kind of space a SP is made for. Even when it was pushed all the way against the toilet it still protruded too much into the walking space, causing stubbed toes and scraped ankles. Plus, as someone with back and hip issues, I wasn’t ever able to use it because of how unnaturally you have to sit when using it. Enter this product. These little stools fix everything wrong with the SP while still having all the same benefits. They nicely fit on either side of the toilet, completely out of the way, and they’re also stackable if we choose to store them that way. Because they’re 2 separate pieces instead of one stool like the SP, they can be positioned in any way that’s comfortable for you, including much further apart. The stools themselves are nice looking and don’t appear to be cheaply made — the material is smooth and has an outline of a footprint to tell you which way to turn them, and they’ve both got a rubber bumper thing around the bottom to prevent slipping. One thing that’s different from the SP is that these are at a slight angle, making the front a tad lower to the ground than the back. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, it’s just different. Regardless I’m very happy to have replaced the Squatty Potty with these!

Doesn't Take Up A Lot Of Space
These are really nice. Kind of expensive for what they are, but helpful. I don't use them myself [yet], but I "know people" that struggle on the toilet a lot and decided to buy a pair of these so they could try it out. Well, these stools got good reviews the first or second time they were used! What's nice is they are so compact. The regular versions of this product are supposed to be able to fit in front of the toilet when not in-use, but they still get in the way. And for guests, they're kind of off-putting IMO because if you don't use them you're thinking "weird." And some designs just plain don't move out of the way easily and could become a trip hazard or an inconvenience when a guy goes in to use the toilet while standing and is kicking the stupid stool. Not a problem with these stools, as they can tuck out of the way on either side of the toilet, or in a bathroom cabinet or wherever. They're just the size needed! These were actually liked so much by the person I bought them for, they bought a pair for someone else! It's also nice they could be used for other things like putting on nail polish, clipping nails, etc. Being able to use just one, or position them any distance apart you want is a really nice inherent feature of these being separate stools for your individual feet. Sure they're a bit expensive, but I'm told they work really well! And the fact it's not some unsightly or heavy wooden box design that might be a trip hazard, inconvenience to your spouse or unsightly for guests is a huge win!

AMAZING! TMI warning
If you have never tried squatting during elimination, you are truly missing out. I used to struggle a lot with constipation. But when I started using a squatting platform about 5 years ago, I noticed amazing changes! I became a lot more regular. I noticed less struggle and straining. My colon felt SO EMPTY after going in a squat position. I love this stackable option. I stack it away when not in use and can easily get it out when I need to eliminate. Simply put the steps out, sit on the toilet like you normally would, put your feet up on the platforms, lean into your thighs, place your hands on the back side of your thighs, and gently “pull” your thighs towards you. This position “squeezes” so much stuff out of you, it’s honestly amazing, lol! There is so much sludge and crap in our colons and this helps make sure we get it all out on a regular basis. I go every morning and this is a huge help!

good and solved the problem.
Overall, I really like this stool. Most others don’t fit my narrow space, but this one works perfectly. It’s easy to clean, quite sturdy, and high enough for my needs. That said, it does have a relatively high center of mass, so if you bump it from the side—like when cleaning—it can tip over and make a bit of noise. Still, I’d definitely recommend it. It’s a solid, useful product.

Excellent, holds 600 lbs too All the others are hard to position, this one is separated for each foot, perfect!

The standard squatting stools don’t fit around the base of my comfort-height toilet. This was the perfect alternative! I just stack them and place them beside the toilet when I’m done!
