Typical AVS, definatly wasnt my first rodeo but once modified and installed they're unbeatable. This is my 3rd set of in-channel AVS on the 3rd vehicle. Everytime, same issue. As most reviewers said, the windows dont roll up with these, thats because part of these stickout, pushed into the channel by the outside weather seal. Obviously in-channel, great for aesthetics but this is a poor attempt. Easily solution is to mod them. Mock set them in the window channel as how they going to be installed anyway but dont peel the adhesive just yet. With them in, roll up the window, see where they hit. Pull it out and trim where they hit. I used a razor and pliers. Cut a few times with the razor in same line then it should be a clean break when twisted with pliers. Easy but really shouldn't be necessary with a consumer ready product. Each one had to be trimmed at the corner where the glass hits first while raising up. Trimmed and then try and try again inspecting where it stops, then trim more. Anyway some of my trims were clean, some jagged but they work beautifully now and window closes smoth every time. Now just got to not got to drive thrus for the next few days for adhesive to stick good. Also when you get these, I guess you intend them to last. Do a good install. Example, pull back the windows seals so they lay over flat over window visors. Clean the inside of channels so adhesive sticks. Lastly when trimming so the window closes, you can take off alot of material without seeing it once installed. But dont over do it.THE END.

I've been using AVS in channel vents for years. I put them on everything I drive. This application has the wrong curve in it. No grip in the front or back of the part. This caused it to lift at 60mph and snap the right rear vent in half. Only got a month out of this set.

They're kind of flimsy but fit perfectly. At first they were catching in the back and 1 broke. I contacted customer service and they sent a replacement set with no problem. They also called me a week later to make sure I got it and was happy with it. I told them it was catching and they told me that back part of the shade is supposed to be between the rubber and the frame not the window like the rest of the shade. I went out and changed mine and it fixed it immediately. I'm pretty sure everyone who has been complaining about this had he exact same problem.

I bought these for my 2018 Honda Civic and they fit perfectly. However, there is one big problem, but it's fixable...the windows hit the guards when you roll them up. This triggers the safety feature in the windows and rolls the windows down immediately. It's only a tiny corner in the nook of the guards that hit the window. Unfortunately, I had already installed them before finding this out. This is definitely a design flaw, but to fix the problem I simply snipped the corners that hit the window. That took care of the problem, but I wish I could have sanded them down before installing them, because now the corners are jagged corners. Would I recommend buying these?...yes...just sand the corners down before installation. Other than that, I haven't had any other problems. They look really nice. I still do not regret buying them.

Style is subjective but in my opinion the in-channels look way better than the out-channel vents. The vents showed up in good condition and installation is pretty straight forward. I had to knock a star off because of one flaw. The 3m style adhesive strips were all over the place on this. That strip looks like it was put on by hand in the factory so I could just have gotten the set done by the rookie.Happy with the purchase. They look great.

They fit in and don’t make noise, they will it seat all the way up in the window base so you are left seeing some of the grey two sided tape near the top which contrast badly with the tint and dark visors. They also are setup so that in the rear you will allow water in if you leave rear windows down on 10th gen Covic Sedan due to window design not the visors, just something to note

Usually I read reviews first, but I thought this is a straight forward product & I should have no issues. Installed per the instructions, now I cannot roll up my windows without pushing the visor so that the window clears it. Very disappointing for a $50 product. You would think after all the similar reviews the company would make modifications to fix the problem, but they have not.

Packaging was good intact and all but for some reason I opened the visors and BOTH front driver/passenger had damage to product. Driver side was cracked and soon as I pulled it out the box the piece fell to the floors. & the passenger side was cracked as well but it was a small piece. Shame :/

What should have been an easy install ended up being a nightmare. The corners near the door pillar don’t stick, so the windows will go up so far, then would go all the way back down because there was something in the track. Both of the front window vent shades ended up cracking. They are very brittle.

Dont waste your money. I used peel and stick before. I wanted a set to go behind seals. This set was so rigid, it broke on install, the flange with tape didn't fit channel very well. When it did fit, material bowed, window did not close.

I've bought 3 sets of these for different cars, and while they've all been great for allowing air flow in all conditions (eg even in the rain), the shrink wrap used for packaging does damage the 3M tape (by sticking to the protective film, resulting in the 3M tape being damaged or stretched/deformed to the point that it doesn't work).Thankfully AVS stands behind their product: I contacted them and they sent me a roll of 3M tape to replace the damaged tape on this latest set.The fantastic support from this company drives up the rating (and my confidence in their products).
