I'll start with the first hurdle: assembly. Absolutely simple but watch out for the bolt that holds the handle in place. You will have to remove it from the handle before slotting it into place and then place and tighten the bolt, easy once you see it. This vacuum works well but I would not recommend for a larger property as you will need to keep emptying it and (if you have pets) cleaning the rotor bar. Otherwise cleaning dust, fluff, and particulate matter (that is cat litter) from carpets 10/10. It works as well or better than any other vacuum I've encountered. From hard floors not quite so good. It will do it eventually but you'll spend time moving stuff about and be tempted to use the turbo setting but this will affect the operational time of your battery charge. However, it recharges fast and all the tools are readily to hand if you need them. It is light and can readily reach into small spaces. My only reservation is how robust it is and only time will tell.

Does everything I wanted. It's easy to use and flexible too. Tools tuck away tidily and do the job. As a bonus it's beautiful. Personal recommendations from people I know and trust finally helped me decide on this model.

Just got this device which should come fully assembled. The assembly instructions are awful. It doesnt mention you have to remove a screw in order to slot it together so nearly broke it.Luckily it works well but annoying it didnt come fully assembled .

The vaccum cleaner itself does not have a powerful suction, it needs to be passed at least 3 times to collect the dust/pet hair from a hard floor. The battery runs out quickly, i is just enough for a small house. However, the hand vaccum cleaner is excellent and very handy. But unfortunately I bought it expecting a better vaccum cleaner as a set. Too expensive for the quality.

Easy to put together, found to be powerful enough for our requirements, easy to use and empty. Quite small dirt compartment. Good first impression.

***UPDATE*** After using it for several months I reckon I would be better off sucking up dust and fluff through a straw- this is nigh on useless! What a waste of money...After 6 years of faithful service my Bosch Athlet decided that its battery had reached the end. It can only hold a charge for about 5 mins so have relegated it to do a quick whizz round upstairs where it now lives like a faithful retainer.I debated with myself buying another one but I was swayed by the detachable part on this- handy for nooks and crannies where an Athlet won't fit.This one looks ok but the suction isn't anywhere near as good and the dust canister a lot smaller. Internal filters no where near as well made and because the canister is a lot smaller, you are constantly opening up to empty it. I can imagine the fittings will soon become victims of 'wear and tear' due to this. I shall give it the benefit of the doubt for a few more days but not particularly impressed so far!n.b Light went off after five minutes of use which doesn't bode well!

The hoover has good suction and appears well made. Unfortunately I received a painful electric shock to my right hand when switching it on. Amazon were great and offered to exchange the item at no cost. As I had only recently purchased the item. I also rang Bosch . Who also offered to send out an engineer. Both have great customer service. As Amazon have collected the item. I am awaiting for Bosch response. When they receive the item back from Amazon

I needed a lightweight hoover that could tackle carpets, rugs, hard floors and stairs; also something that was easy to empty, with no bags. I have only had this hoover for a week but it is wonderful to use and also has a light so that the dust is highly visible on hard floors!I have not used any of the attachments yet, neither have I used the detachable part but am looking forward to using these for the stairs which are in need of a serious clean. So far, I highly recommend this beautiful product. Well done and thank you to Bosch!
