The box showed signs of handling and one end rather smashed having a small tear. The poles were just fine but the box that had the brass colored finial had taken a beating and there was a dent in the globe. Because it is so high the dent isn’t noticeable so I don’t really mind.After reading other reviews I took the initiative to order my own solid metal cleat and heavy duty nylon flag clips.I dug a hole as instructions and set the first pole segment and slip sleeve into the ground. I did use heavy duty duct tape to seal the bottom first so dirt or cement wouldn’t find its way into the opening.Using a level I set those two pieces into about 65lbs of quick set concrete mix and let it cure 24hrs before installing the other sections.Pole went up quick and easy and has been performing well, even during 25mph winds.If I’m home I always pull the 4x6 down or the two 3x5 flags during storms. However, I don’t worry about the pole, just the flags themselves.The pole is really solid and the bronze finish compliments our front yard.The only remaining concern might be the longevity of the plastic pulley at the top, time will tell but overall I’m very pleased with this pole.Another advantage this one has above the telescopic type is the ability to quickly adjust the flag to half staff when needed. That and I never have to worry about the sections slipping or spinning out.

Customer Service Was Beyond Excellent!I purchased the flag kit in January but didn’t get around to installing it until June. When I finally opened the box, I realized it only contained the poles no flag or mounting hardware. I reached out to Emma at Rushmore Rose USA, fully acknowledging that the mistake was mine for not checking sooner, and I offered to purchase the missing parts.Emma kindly asked for a photo, and to my surprise, about a week later all the missing hardware arrived free of charge! The flag and pole are truly high quality, and I’ve received multiple compliments on how great it looks.Huge thanks to Emma and the team at Rushmore Rose USA for going above and beyond!

It’s a great product. Made in USA. It’s a two man job putting up a flag pole. The flag is gorgeous but a slightly smaller size flag also looks nice. Definitely worth the purchase price.

Firstly let me say, anything that’s not Made in America, is simply Un-American.Secondly, if you fly an American Flag it MUST be Made in America and that goes for the pole too.This All American Steel Flag Pole kit is absolutely magnificent.It’s made from toughened US steel (NOT aluminium) so it won’t bend or snap after some light winds and the 4x6 ft flag that comes with it is the perfect size up high at 18 ft.The black galvanised steel is weather proof and super strong for all types of weather, rain, wind or searing heat.It’s beautiful and so easy to put together and install with clear instructions included and I highly recommend Rushmore Rose as a company as all my dealings with them over the years have been quick, easy and efficient and the products they produce are of the highest quality.It’s the perfect outdoor pole and flag for me, a true patriotic American. Thank you for producing such a great American product !

Followed the instructions and had zero problems. Digging the whole was the worst part and seemed all help "disappeared" when I started to dig. I dug about 3ft down 2ft across and made it pretty cylindrical not tapered.The instructions said put minimum of 120lbs of concrete in the tapered hole I put 300lbs in the non tapered. It's not going anywhere!Had some help placing the pole as this was the 25ft and it was a lot to handle.The 4x6 flag and pole and weathered many storms and still flies proudly. All I had to do was tighten it up a bit from the rope stretch. Sturdy construction. Well built. The rope never tangles.The golden globe on top is cheap and feels like plastic. I dropped mine and it crack open. I glued it back and 25ft up you can't tell any difference.Made in the USA as far as I saw and overall a great purchase.

Very easy to assemble and very nice quality. This poll looks great and will make you proud to display your favorite flag on it. It also comes with a quality American flag. The only thing I’m not sure about is how well the plastic flag clips will hold up, but I do like that they don’t make a clinking noise against the pole. I did buy extra plastic clips just in case I want to fly a second flag (flag pole kit only comes with two) or in case the clips that come with the pole break. If the plastic clips don’t hold up well I’ll probably end up buying metal clips, but they seem to be pretty strong so far.

A bit expensive for what you get imho, but then what isn’t nowdays?Only been up a couple weeks. Seems sturdy so far but we’ve not yet had many of our “standard days” of the winds being 25kts gusting to 30.The product description is misleading stating it’s capable of flying 2 flags in high winds (although they don’t say what they consider “high”) which is why I spent the $$. HOWEVER the instructions clearly state to only fly 1 flag in no more than 40mph winds!! Also I replaced their plastic hardware with stainless steel clips for the flag . We duct taped a small piece of bubble wrap around the clips to quiet them from clanging against the pole. Black duck tape on a black string and black pole-worked great. I wish it were made with a longer ground sleeve in order to plant it deeper in the ground, but time will tell.Overall it looks nice seems to be holding up under light breezes so far.

I take the flags down when bad weather is coming or winds are gusting much over 30mph. I’m sure it has seen a few higher gusts, but nothing major. I fly the 4x6 US flag that came with it and a 3x5 USMC flag on it night and day. I added a pole top solar light which was easy to add on with the ball on top easily threaded through it. I made my hole twice the size recommended and used a lot more concrete. But that doesn’t make the pole any stronger. Hope this doesn’t jinx me but it’s still standing, so I owed it a decent review!
