Fit perfectly
These replacements are expensive, but well worth it. Can't find these lids anywhere else, and I wouldn't want to through out the bottoms just because I didn't have lids. It's a great seal for soup if you have newer lids. Very happy. They fit great, as advertised.

They fit the mugs the way they should, but the price is ridiculous. (Originals should be sturdier)
We love our mugs for traveling with soups or stews etc, but these cost THREE times what they should.

Improved lid for the Corning 20 oz mug
I have the older Stoneware version of the 20 oz mug (heavy, smooth sided, white with natural stone-like blue streaking) which was supplied with a differently designed vented lid. My significant-other did not know what it was and trashed it. Corning never offered that lid as a separate item so in desperation I ordered this newly designed lid. The older Stoneware mug is thicker but has the same basic circumference at the rim. With a bit of effort by pressing down all around the circumference the new lid did go on the mug. With soup-making usage the required effort has decreased. The new lid fits very snugly all around so there is no leakage over the top of the mug. The new lid is advertised as stain resistant and that is true. The original lid did immediately pick up an orange stain from soup and the new lid still looks new.

So Happy I Can Replace Lids
Have had the Corning bowls and lids for over 10 years. They live up to Corningware's high standards and durability. Unfortunately having had young people in the house, one lid was missing the vent piece and one lid just totally disappeared. Thought I was doomed to plastic wrap. So glad replacement lids are available!!!

Bought as replacement lids for two that broke down over time
I actually don't like this lid design, but I like my mugs, and wanted replacement lids rather than purchasing new lidded mugs. The lids are difficult to clean, and over time and microwaving, the plastic gets brittle and breaks down.
