WILSON2022 A1000 Baseball Glove Series

Price could have been better but the glove is top notch.

I was a Little hesitant on pulling the trigger on the A1000. Especially since I’ve been using Rawlings my whole baseball life. So far it’s been a great purchase! Took less then a week to get the glove broken in to the point I felt comfortable using it in a game. Nothing over the top with breaking in. Broke it in with playing catch, fielding some bp, and breaking in the leather when I’m just chilling at home. Understanding that the A2000 is a higher quality glove, just hard for me to pull the trigger for a glove listed as $260-$300. You want to save some money and still get quality, definitely look at the A1000.

I am 41 years old and bought this glove Bcs I’m coaching my 8 year old sons baseball team. This is an extremely high quality glove that also looks great. My hands are on the smaller size and the Pedroia fit has been perfect. Obviously, it comes a little stiff..tho I found it to be immediately usable. Definitely did not require a crazy break in period. I had wanted an A2000, but just couldn’t justify spending $300 for a glove that’s basically used for playing catch with my kid. I’m extremely happy I didn’t splurge as this glove is totally perfect for my needs. I highly recommend this glove for anyone interested in it.

In my opinion, the a1000 line up of Wilson gloves is the best bang for you buck for a high school athlete. The leather is stiff enough that it will last 3-4 years and is soft enough that it doesn’t take forever to break in.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY GRANDSON'S BIRTHDAY THINKING IT WAS A YOUTH SIZE. HE LIVES OUT OF STATE AND i haven't been able to see if you can exchange it for a youth. Would much a appreciate it.

Bought glove for my 12yo son to use playing in the outfield this year. Glove is not ready for game day use and will take a month or so to get it ready. Nice glove though should be able to take him to his HS years. Size is 12.5

As a former competitive player, as a father of travel team player, and as a glove enthusiast, this A1000 model 1912 is an excellent outfield glove for younger but growing players. For those players between the ages of 10 and 16 can definitely utilize this glove for their young aspiring days. Not for infield unless you have a gigantic hand for your age. But perfect for outfielders and possibly perhaps maybe 3rd base. Leather is decently stiff even though it's not even close to A2000 nor A2k. Web is well designed and flashy. It's not game ready for sure. It will need good couple of days off elbow grease, glove shaper, and at least 200-300 catches. Pocket gets formed well and after thin layer of conditioner, this glove is good to go. Only downside I can point out is "wilson quality laces". I just don't understand how wilson let's these great gloves (A1000, A2000, and A2K) and decides to use this thin and weak laces. My glove came supple and nice except for the laces. Laces were dry, thin, and downright "about to snap". I had to condition the laces at least 3 times before I started to work on breaking in the glove. Otherwise it would've snapped.New logo and colour scheme is great for younger generations. My 9U and 13U both love this type of "in your face" type of colour combination.Palm and finger stalls are all leather and feels nice. As long as laces holds, this glove is good for 10,000 catches or 2-3 good seasons of you take care of it.My son (9U) is currently playing RF and 1st base and this glove will be used for his RF position once winter training starts.Well done Winson (just get better laces please).

Lo compré para mi hija que juega Softbol. Salió muy bueno y se ajusta muy bien a la mano de mi hija de 10. Los materiales y calidad son excelentes, además de que no hay que preocuparse por "aflojarlo", está listo para usarlo!!!

Justo lo que yo imaginé como lo vi en la foto excelente calidad me gustó

Leather is not the same quality of a A1000, feels like A700 model.
