I got this for my Ibanez EW20ASE.... the pin on the back of the body by the neck was too far recessed to get the rigid plastic ratched clasp on it.... I was mad for about 10 seconds. Great quality strap, looks fantastic, feels great to the hand and the locks are nothing to sneeze at, they really lock to your pins. So, I took it and put it on my Ibanez AS93 (a fairly heavy guitar for being semi-hollow) and they fit, perfectly. I had just done a string change and spent a little over an hour playing and breaking the strings in, this strap is super comfy (especially for not being padded). The material is somewhere between satin and a seatbelt with a cool stitched "xxx/diamond" design (that's my words, not Planet Waves). Absolutely love it and VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND for use with any guitar that doesn't have recessed strap pins) A++++++

I got my first guitar- a Fender Starcaster- for Christmas. I'm playing it constantly, and I apparently wore out the strap that came with it, which basically meant that if I moved the wrong way the strap came off and the guitar hit the ground. I started looking online for a solution, and saw strap lock systems which required that I change the pins on my guitar... not something I wanted to attempt as a novice! Came across this strap and figured I'd give it a shot, and it is exactly what I needed. It attaches securely and I am no longer afraid of dropping my guitar or struggling to put my strap on with it disconnecting from the guitar as I try to put it around my body... Aside from functionality, the plastic seems very sturdy and durable, the material of the strap itself is high quality, color is vibrant, and it is very comfortable. Definitely a worthwhile purchase, will be buying more of these down the road I'm sure!

I'm a beginning player so I'm trying to make things as simple as possible starting out. I was looking for an easy way to get my strap on and off my acoustic, and really didn't want to mess around with changing out the hardware to mount straplocks. This strap performs exactly the same function without having to do anything additional to my guitar. The ratcheting heads are kind of wide and my top button is fairly close to the neck so at first it was a really tight squeeze, but a little customization of the strap head with a file and some sandpaper solved that issue. The locking mechanism works by way of a keyhole that rotates closed with a ratchet gear to lock the strap head to the button. To attach, put the keyhole over the button and rotate it closed. Your strap is now locked in place. To remove it, hold the release lever and rotate the keyhole back to its fully opened position. That's it. Really, it's that simple. I'm a taller guy (6'3") and after adjustment there is plenty of strap to spare should I need it longer at some point. The leather feels robust, and it was pretty soft and comfortable right out of the box. Can't wait to see how it does after it breaks in. This was a great choice and I couldn't be happier.

Just what I wanted for durability and looks. I love the strap lock feature and have since removed the strap locks on my basses and moved to the Planet waves style. Only very minor gripe is that the strap is really long. Awesome if you are a grunge metal player and love it slung at the knees. But for me, It leaves a big loop of extra strap. Not a huge deal, however. Will absolutely buy more Planet Waves straps with the lock. Other thing I like is that the strap loop adjuster is plastic, not metal. Sure metal may offer better life. But my straps with metal adjusters would always bang my bass when I took it off and put the bass on the stand. Occasionally, this would leave a ding or nick. Much prefer to replace a broken strap than ding up my bass. I only started using the PW locking straps in the last few months. They look well built. But I will report back if they break unexpectedly.

Well, the headline kinda says it all; I absolutely love this thing. I play a non-weight-relieved Les Paul Standard so I can attest that this thing being able to handle quite a bit of weight; that said even with that very heavy instrument it is actually very well balanced and comfortable. The leather isn't super high quality but is definitely good, and with a little use it has softened beautifully. The strap looks sharp and definitely will fit nicely with any guitar. The locking system is genius, it holds on super tight and I never even think about it falling off. Just yesterday I took like a quarter/half mile walk carrying my LP on this thing and not even holding it and didn't worry a bit about it. While getting it off the guitar takes a bit longer than something like a DiMarzio ClipLock, it goes on super fast and can be done in the dark really easily (an advantage of this over the ClipLock I have on my strat). The very best part of this strap though is the fact that there is NO DRILLING NEEDED. I can leave my baby exactly how it is but still have a strap that lets me jump around like a maniac onstage and really put on a show with complete peace of mind. Totally recommend this to any guitarist anywhere and I really hope D'Addario expands this line for more styles and I will definitely be getting more in the future.

I was looking for a secure and comfortable strap for my brand new Jem 70V SFG - one that I'd feel confident that I could swing the guitar (as is my wont) without danger of its coming free and bouncing along the floor - as has happened with conventional straps in the past. The locking straps that I have for my other guitars are no longer made, so I was looking for a new manufacturer and this Planet Waves strap seemed to tick all the boxes. I was a little concerned because the Jem strap knobs were bigger than those on most of my guitars. However, I had no problem fitting the strap locking system. I like the locking system used and feel 100% confident that if gravity does have its wicked way with the Jem, it won't be the strap's fault. It is as comfortable as any strap I've used - and a darn sight more comfortable than most. It has a lot of adjustment room and I feel that only an inordinately tall player doing his Jimmy Page 'hanging down by his feet' poses would consider that it wasn't long enough. I'm very happy with my purchase, so much so that I have ordered another for the guitar bought for my nephew's birthday.

Sangle très agréable. J'aime particulièrement le système de verrouillage intégré à la sangle et qui fonctionne même sur une guitare qui aurait des StrapLocks style Schaller d'installés. Si votre guitare est un peu lourde, elle n'est peut être pas assez large, mais autrement elle est très confortable et facile à régler. Et la couleur va parfaitement avec ma Majesty

Great strap easy locking feature on it is rather nifty,very comfortable too & brilliant design for those in the know. I did think maybe a tad expensive but my mind still works on 70s/80s prices as a comparison so what do I know?

Excelente correia Já vem com trava, muito fácil de colocar e retirar. A trava fica firme quando a guitarra está no corpo, o que dificulta, até impossibilitada de abrir a trava sem querer durante o uso. Não possui enchimento, porém é feita de um material bem macio e confortável, não machuca. Sem contar também que no meu caso, combinou com a estética do instrumento
