Layer Origin Organic Apple Peel Powder Boost Akkermansia and Bifidobacteria

Excellent product. Easy to use. It comes with a small measuring scoop. I put 2 Tbsps of unsweetened applesauce and I use 1/2 individual packet of Sweet Life stevia. The recommended dose for the powder is 2 scoops. This apple peel powder is a very finely ground powder so when I mix it with the applesauce I fold it in rather than stirring it all up which causes the powder to fly up like a mist. The powder is a lighter brown so your applesauce will be more brown and delicious.. I noticed the effect on my gut health very quickly. This product was so beneficial that it is part of my daily morning routine and I am subscribed so I don’t miss a dose. For me, it was the missing puzzle piece in a long line of other microbiome healing products; some highly expensive, but this powder gave me the answer to a healthier gut. I am thrilled to have found it.

We tried this product as part of a probiotic regimen. What we found is that it works very well as a natural appetite suppressant when taken daily first thing in the morning at least a half-hour before breakfast. The result is that it is much easier to eat smaller portions less often for the rest of the day making this a valuable weight-loss aid! As far as we're concerned, this product completely eliminates the need for expensive, risky prescription meds now in vogue for serious weight loss. As other reviewers have pointed out, the powder doesn't dissolve easily, but an inexpensive shaker bottle works wonders. Awesome product!

Does not dissolve well

Umm every once in awhile I’d get the taste of a bruised apple, which probably can’t be helped when making a product en masse like this, however, it was enough to turn me off and decide to just peel some apples that looked good.

This product is well worth the money. Great taste and good addition for a healthy smoothie. I will be buying it again.

This product is pulverized apple skins. Don’t expect them to mix with water; they’re not supposed to. I use this product in my smoothies with HMO powder, and it works as intended. Alternatively, you could just go to the store and buy a bunch of apples to peel. This product is a convenient alternative.

I liked that the powder inside was protected from moisture and fine enough to dissolve in liquid.
