This is a good basic kit for beginning book makers, book binders. I recommend.

Plenty of selection to do whatever project you want to do. Seemed to be a good value.

I was able to restitch a seam in a leather sofa cushion. I also used it to repair my horse's tack. Would like a more sturdy threader and a broke a couple of needles. But all in all, was worth the money

I used the 'clear' white thread to embroider text, hit it with some heat and it made great lettering.For the stitching, the assortment of needles and tools made multiple rows of precise stitching (I purposely want a rough look on the book) Photo of Jeans for what a neat stitch looks like... which brings me to the unexpected point, this is way better than traditional thread for repairing ripped jeans. This thread can be pulled tight and resist breaking when squatting, lifting, tugged by branches, or whatever else might snag your jeans.

Basically I was sewing up a ripped seam on a off road Jeep seat. Heavy Vinyl/Leather. Wasn't looking for looks but heavy-duty hold. It came with 8 curved needles which I needed and good heavy (Heavy) duty thread. Worked great. Wasn't pretty when I was done but again, hold is what I want. I bought a set of Curved Needles and, supposed (NOT), Heavy duty thread and they cost me more than this kit and the thread was heavy for maybe basic clothing at best. With the less than $8 and will be used again I'm sure. My original try cost me about $10 and that was just the needles and 1 roll of, not heavy, thread. It was good for me and good, in my opinion, for any Heavy Duty sewing jobs. I recomend for that. Oh, comes with a bunch of needles a 4, total spools of thread. and leather findger covers and Heavy hole pokers.

A great selection of tools

This was cheaper than buying a new belt. The tag end holder broke so I sowed it back together. As good as new …. Actually better because the belt is broken in.
