This was bought as a gift for a young boy. Had hours of fun putting it altogether and ever more playing with it. It does have lots of small pieces and that is a challenge for smaller children/fingers. But the end result was well worth it. This was glued during assembly to make it more of a play with toy than something to just sit on a shelf. Even with doing that the parts that need to move still do, and the parts that you would want to stay altogether do. If you have a young star wars fan, or an old one for that matter, this was a fun project.

A grandpa can't go wrong with these things. Grandson has assembled a number of kits, he is 7. Over time he has really learned to identify the potential use for little obscurely designed pieces and he recycles the parts later into his own creations. He was 6 when I gave him this kit, it is rated for 8 - 12 and he easily assembled it while I puttered about helping organize the bits into similar piles. These toys have really amped up his ability of spacial understanding Every piece is well made and all the bags have exactly the parts they are supposed to have. Great product, even if I believe they are way overpriced.

I got this for my 6 year old daughter's birthday. While she can do puzzles for higher age ranges some parts of this set were frustrating for her, so I had to help out, which of course is part of the fun, but they are probably pretty spot on for their assembly age range. As for the set itself, it is pretty cool since it has Yoda w/ lightsaber and a droid. The wings move around as well, so now she wants to get more ships so they can chase each other. Overall a really good toy if your child likes Star Wars.

This is a wonderful set and the price is spot on. This is a Clone Wars era star fighter so it makes sense that there is a imperial ( was the republic ) insignia on the wings. The inclusion of R2-D2 is a wonderful and inexpensive bonus. There are only four stickers and they're easy to apply. Children may need help with the round stickers though. Also, step 79 shows the application of the hull stickers after the completed build. Instead, apply the hull stickers after step 54 is completed. It's much easier. The set is a sturdy build with great character. A must have of yoda and star fighter fans.

Let 5ge force be wi5h you! This is a gun build for a 8 to 12 year old, if they like Star Wars it is a great gift.

Oh man, this is so cool! It's fun to put together, it's fun to play with, it holds together way way better than something like the Millennium Falcon, and it's easy to put back together when it pops apart, which is rare even with a toddler playing with it. The Yoda and R2-D2 figures are absolutely ace for bonus points. Hard to go wrong with this one.

I love this set. Fun, quick, build. Good for collectors, but also easy enough for younger builders to assemble and enjoy!
