Such a great value for a very classy and classic watch. It really delivers about 90% of a Hamilton for a third the price. The band was a little stiff out of the box, but it broke in super quickly - one day and it was fine. It's a 39.4mm case, but it wears a little smaller than that I would say. My wrist is a tiny bit over 7" and it looks great. I love the manual winding capability of this newer Sports 5 line too.

Very durable and attractive Seiko 5. It has excellent lume, and the color makes reafability very good in all lighting. The watch quality is what you expect from a Seiko, and is premier. The watch band in very comfortable and unlike other mesh bands, it stays put on your arm, and I’m not fighting it over the course of the day. This watch checked all the boxes, and is a great value for the money. It looks good in casual, semi formal and formal dress, and it’s color would go with most average dress.

Great quality as expected from Seiko. an ageless design that will never go out of fashion plus excellent value for money. You dont get better than that

This review is specifically for Fresh Pearl, a vendor that supplied Amazon with the watch I received today. I was disappointed when I took the watch out of the box and it did not have any protective plastic on the face crystal or exhibition back. In Seiko’s owners manual it says that there should be protective coverings and if not, you have received a return or second hand watch. Looking closely, I do see a rather deep scratch on the exhibition back crystal. Deep enough to grab the tip of my fingernail when trying to rub off what I thought was a hair or dirty streak. Everything else looks ok and the watch seems to run well. Time will tell since I just received it four hours ago. It’s a shame that Fresh Pearl and finally Amazon would allow a return to be shipped out as new. I could have spent a lot less money buying second hand as this watch seems to be. Update: day 2. Watch was not running when I went to put it on this morning. It was on my wrist all day yesterday. I do work a desk job so maybe I didn’t move my wrist enough. I will give it a full wind tonight before I head to bed and report back on the power reserve. Update: day 3. Winding the watch before going to bed last night worked. It has at least 12 hours of reserve. I did look into returning it to Fresh Pearl which I found very shady. I was sent a label to print out. Instructions were to send it with tracking. When received by Fresh Pearl they would inspect it. If it not have the tags attached and showed any signs of wear, they would either reject the return or refund 50%. One of the tags Fresh Pearl attached at their location. They attached it with a small zip tie that goes through the buckle and one of the buckle holes. So to place the watch on my wrist, I had to cut the tie. Since the watch they sent me already showed signs of wear and I had to cut the zip tie, they would only refund me 50% and I would have to pay for return shipping. As evidenced by my receiving the watch in NOT NEW condition, it seems Fresh Pearl may be sending this watch out expecting it to be returned keeping the 50% then sending it out again to another unsuspecting customer. I spent some time online trying to find information and a number to call Fresh Pearl, but couldn’t find anything other than their presence on Amazon and other watches they sell there. No contact information.

Purchased this for a gift and was a bit hesitant given the price but it’s exactly as shown. It was very well received. Looks great.
