Ba Gua Nei Gong Vol. 2: Qi Cultivation Exercises and Standing Meditation

Great Book On Cultivating Chi For Internal Martial Arts.
I have all Bisio's books on Ba Gua, and the 3 DVDs.There are several books out there that cover the Post Standing...and have a few Chi cultivation exercises. What separates this book from the others is the clarity that Bisio gives in his explanations. He takes an esoteric subject and makes it very clear how to do the exercises correctly, and answers the most common questions a student would ask while learning.A gifted instructor. If you want to know how internal Kung Fu adepts generate Chi.....that stuff that adds internal power to your striking...in this book, Tom Bisio teaches that subject in complete detail.

Great for Basic Qi Gong
This was something I was looking for, the easy to follow tutorial on standing meditation.I was introduced to this years ago but forgot much of it. Now I can restart my practice.Thank you for offering this material.

Excellent, and just one part of a comprehensive system
This is an excellent introduction to Zhan Zhuang as well as an introduction to related, Qi cultivation exercises, which are wonderful in themselves. One of the strengths of the Bisio series is that each book is part of an integrated system that teaches Bagua fundamentals, i.e. you'll learn multiple Nei Gong sets and stepping drills which work together synergistically. The whole is more than the sum of the parts, and each part is of high quality. This series is solid and consistent, if not overly slick, manifesting Bisio's many years of training and his efforts to understand Bagua Zhang and Traditional Chinese medical theory - both notoriously difficult for a westerner to come to terms with.I'd recommend this book along with Lam's Way of Energy and Bruce Frantzis' Energy Gates book as a good adjunct to any internal martial artist's standing practice. Mark Cohen's Inside Zhan Zhuang is also incredible, but probably more than a beginner can readily absorb without a knowledgable teacher as a guide. It's a very deep dive.
