This product was recommended by a friend for my fiancé who is recovering from throat cancer. My fiancé lost a lot of weight and was having trouble gaining muscle since radiation from throat cancer killed some of his salivary glands and makes it difficult to eat.She stated that it was prescribed by her husbands doctors when he went through rehab due to complications from dialysis and liver disease. She stated he was able to regain the necessary muscle needed to get back in his feet again and rerun home.He states that it has helped him muscle recovery. His muscles are less sore after exercise thank when he wasn’t using the product. At first I questioned if it was the product or his body getting used to exercising, but he ran out before the new order arrived and could definitely feel a difference. I haven’t tried the the individual serving packets yet because they cost more and wasn’t sure if he would like all the flavors. Howeve, I think they would be convenient to carry with you if you travel or need to take at work.Negatives1) flavor isn’t great, especially grape, but not much different than taking a cough syrup or other similar medicine.2) Order 1-2 weeks before you need the product. This comes from a medical supply company and doesn’t ship quickly..

I like the flavor. It is easy to mix with ginger ale or sprite, I prefer regular but you can use diet.

Just what I needed to build up my protien.

The taste is very good and not too sweet.

Later found a better price.....wish it was cheaper on amazon.
