Got this for my wife on our anniversary because she is rather difficult to gift buy for. She is the type of woman that when asked she will say she wants nothing LOL. So I decided to get this for her, when she opened it and pulled out the rose she was nearly in tears and the expression was worth a thousand words. This item knocked it out of the park, the craftsmanship is really detailed and captures the nuisances of the rose. I only got one so I could not compared it with another to see if they are unique. However, this rose is designed to put in a vase and look at I would not go handling it a lot because of the type of sealant used, oils from your hands might damage the finish. I am not saying it will but why would you want to ruin something so beautiful.

Beautiful. Bought this for my wife as an anniversary present. Defiantly looks of glass at first glance, but if you look at the petals in the light, you can clearly see the veins and that it is indeed a lacquered and dipped flower. Will buy more in the future for sure.

It does look nice, but for $40 I had expected better quality. I think it should come with the stand included by default; the idea of spending another $10 on a plastic stand that probably costs the company less than a dollar to produce kind of grinds my gears a bit.
