I threw my original cheaper cover away because the casing kept catching the side buttons and turning it off. This one is excellent....my Tab 8 simply sticks to the backing magnetically, it's much less bulky, and it turns off and on with closing and opening the cover.I read that the pen easily fell out and yes, if you open the cover 360 degrees the pen can easily detach, so the trick is to use the tablet as an open book or move the pen to the external strip below the camera where it sticks with it's magnet quite safely.😊

Genuine and good quality would highly recommend

When I read the reviews for this, I didn't really understand the 'no edges' comments. Now it is blindingly obvious! The tablet simply holds in with magnets. I actually think it's smart and pretty compact for a case. Only gripe is that the S Pen does tend to fall off the side when you open the case up properly.

I would not have bought this cover at the normal Samsung price but at this reduced price it's a bargain.
