Free range beef is meat that comes from cattle that are free to roam the paddocks & eat pasture, versus cattle that are fed grain & growth promotants to create rapid weight gain, & are typically raised in feed lots. - Why is non-gmo beef better? Delicious, quality jerky! I consider myself to be a bit of a jerky snob and I'm very satisfied with this product. It's not dry or overly spiced... I've shared with several of my friends and they all wanted to buy it. I have not tried flavors other than Peppered but I plan to order some soon!

Healthy, natural and tasty!
Our family loves jerky and we've eaten just about every brand out there. I also make it at home with my dehydrator. I eat jerky because it's low carb, high protein and keeps me from indulging in unhealthy snacks.This New Zealand Teriyaki Jerky is made from free-range New Zealand cows, is MSG free, contains no nitrates (other than what naturally occurs in soy sauce), low fat, no hormones or GMO products in their feed (because it's grass). Each serving (1 ounce) has 90 calories, 1 gram fat, 11 grams protein, 9 carbs, and 540 grams sodium (a little high). Each order comes with three bags of 3 ounces each and as of this writing one order costs $23. We pay about that much for gas station jerky, which is full of nitrates, MSG and other unknown ingredients!The taste of this jerky is very nice - meaty, salty and savory. Normally I'm not a big fan of teriyaki flavor because of the sweetness, but this has a subtle flavor. It's cut into nice bite sized pieces (unlike the huge, hard to bite slabs we often see in other brands) and comes in a zip top bag. I'm very impressed with this brand and plan to buy their pepper flavor jerky for our son's summer baseball tournaments, where I'm at the field all weekend long without low-carb food unless I bring it myself.I received a complimentary sample of New Zealand Jerky for testing and review purposes. This Beef Jerky is Good Lesson on ''Lack of Willpower''
My experience, along with other family members reminds me of the "Cookies" story from the Arnold Lobel's "Frog and Toad Together." Toad had baked a large batch of cookies, intended for consumption over the course of several days. Neither had the willpower to resist gorging on them all at once.I am ashamed to admit that this is what happened to me and my youngest daughter. This New Zealand Beef Jerky smelled very good and...they tested even better. I ate one of them and my daughter did the same. We ate more and vowed that we would save the rest for another day (but keeping them away from other family members). But as we proclaimed that every piece would be "last piece" of the day, we -- in less than an hour consumed the whole bag.Fortunately, you get three bags...and we did have the discipline to save those for another day.We have no complaints about this product.Got this at no cost or discount in exchange for an honest review.

This was very good beef jerky with a nice spicy but not too spicy flavor and a not too hard texture For those who care about such things it is also non-GMO verified. Yummy! Satisfying!
Yummy! We eat a lot of jerky - I keep it in the car to nibble on, for after school snacks, and because it's a high protein, low carb snack. You can nibble on a piece and make it last as long as you like. This New Zealand Jerky is delicious! It has a good flavor, is not overpowering with sauce, smoke or pepper, just good plain yummy jerky.When the box arrived it had 3 packages. Two were gone before 5 PM by hungry kids and office workers. I hid the third one and that is the only reason I had one left to savor and review! It has a savory taste that is filling and satisfying. We were given a sample for a review. My opinion is that the jerky is awesome and better quality wise than the stuff you can get in the supermarket.
