I bought this admiral Fitzroy storm glass as a replacement for one that I broke. Not sure if it truly works, but is a cool piece. The wood square it comes with is basically useless. I chose to place it in a cupped candle holder for more security. Beware though, the chemicals inside these storm glasses are harmful. When I knocked the last one over, the liquids inside discolored the wood of my antique table, and felt like a chemical burn on my leg. It smells like Camphor.

I've had it for 2 weeks now, and it's cute, but the white bits inside are still just floating, and some are stuck to the top and side and won't come off. As cute as it is, it's really annoying that I can't get the stuck bits off at least.

These are super cool. I get them as gifts for people all the time. If you are a weather or storm person this is for you! You do need to leave it sit for 2 weeks in the same place for it to acclimate to the climate.

I bought this for a Christmas gift and it was a big hit. It’s small about the size of an apple so you can put it anywhere. It has instructions that explain all the weather it predicts, and is a great option for weather buffs.

Very beautiful! I bought this simply as a desk decoration, based on reviews saying it never changes, but it works! See photos. The first was taken January 11th 2019 during an abnormal warmup. The second is from tonight, January 18th 2019, during a strong snowstorm. Very cool!

It was very cute when I received it, but after a year, it has changed colors despite being completely sealed. Not sure it ever worked, because it looks the same whether its really cold or not so cold.
