This was for a fireplace. It was not easy to get to. The part was great, just hard to install on this heatilator fireplace.

I replaced the thermocouple on my gas fireplace logs. Once I gained access to the pilot assembly, the replacement was very easy. Although the old thermocouple was stuck in its bracket, once freed, the replacement was a snap it works perfectly, and should last many many years. It’s a good value for the money spent.

Easy to install

I have a Williams floor furnace. This was too skinny for the type I had. I damaged product and did not return.i cleaned the old milli volt thermocouple with steel wool,it works now. I would have tried a full assembly Robert Shaw Next. Williams company sells the part .higher price of course. Thanks Geo

We were able to find the matching part number to our 24 year old propane fireplace. It fit perfectly. It was not a “quick fix” because there was a lot of things to remove to get to the thermopile. That said, it was a way less expensive fit than having to purchase a new fireplace! There aren’t many businesses out there that work on an old Dutchwest system. Thankful for YouTube and a son that doesn’t mind doing the tedious work to replace it.

We went to a local store and they wanted to charge us for a whole assembly - $78. We bought this installed it and it works!
