The inner headband part of the hat is soft and the hat has a little stretch to it. The hat stays snug on the head while still feeling non constrictive. I cant say how much I love these hats. I used to not wear hats, but between my day job being outside at times with the sun in my face, and the fact im starting to go(uncomfortably) bald (lol), i had to start wearing hats. I bought other hurley hats that fit like the richardson 112's(which i like), then came upon this one. I now refuse to buy any other hat. I have bought almost every color. I even bought one for my dad (81 yrs old) and he mirrored my praises of the hat. I recommend this hat, BIG TIME!!!

I bought this as a gift for my son who prefers everything to be very plain and basic. Hurley is a good brand and the hat is well made. And best of all, my son wears it all the time.

Comes shipped in a bag and not in a box. That's a big negative. Other than that it's a great hat. Color is deep.

I bought a plain black Hurley SnapBack with the mesh 2 years ago.. hoping that this one would be pretty much the same.. to my dismay the fit changed…when you go to put it on your head the hat it’s self isn’t that tall so it didn’t cover the head as well…This really sucked because although it’s still a decent hat, their old design was - PERFECT. I've had issues with hats being to tall forever. This hat just so happens to fit me wonderfully. I've bought 3 of these already. I don't like the coloring of any of them except the black one though. For anyone else who fits this hat nicely, can you suggest another hat that fits well for you as well? I've tried branded bills, but didn't like the way they looked nearly as much.

Good quality but doesn't have as much height as your typical trucker cap. I'd say it would fit smaller head better.
