High quality and worth every penny
If you're going to spend $300 or $600 on a high quality pistol, why toss it in a cheap vinyl or unpadded nylon case? And yet, people still do just that. I like the Boyt cases for their rugged canvas exterior, heavy brass zippers, and breathability. I have several Boyt cases in both the "heart shaped" and the rectangular style that do a great job of protecting both airguns and firearms. This particular style of case is best used for guns without sights or scopes, although I did manage to fit a Ruger 22/45 Target model with a small Sightmark reflex sight into the 14" version. For scoped guns, the Boyt Harness Rectangular Handgun Case is a better fit, but be sure to check the size before ordering. You want at least 1" of extra space all around to allow for the thickness of the gun and scope or sight.

Definitely not the Boyt Case of Old
Rivet now on the inside that will scrape firearm. I have a half-dozen of them from 5 to 10 years ago and the quality of those was better.

Excellent pistol rug transport & storage
These Boyt rugs are the standard by which all other should be judged! I highly recommend these to owners looking for an alternative to the cheap nylon, fluffy style rugs that act like balloons or pillows in a safe. I believe the size listed is the inside spine of the case. Choosing the right size is important to me, and here's what I've found works:12" - long-barreled revolvers & full-size sidearms (Blackhawk)10" - larger frame 4" revolvers & full-size autos (1911, K-frames, G17, G21, 92FS, etc)8" - small frame revolvers & medium-sized autos (J-frames, G19, P229, etc) The double-stacks are snug, but fit.

Top Quality
This handgun case is VERY well made. A really beautiful item. It holds either my Ruger LCR 38-special +P or my Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380 (one is a revolver, the other is a pistol). It's the perfect size for these smaller handguns (I ordered the 8").Although the description says "heart shaped," it's exactly as you see pictured. It isn't purposely shaped like a heart to attract female gun owners; it's actually shaped like, well, a handgun case.If you're looking for a handgun case that will last and last, your search is over.

Great cases, not a bad price either.
I own two of these cases -- an OD colored one for my Ruger Mk III and a black one for my Remington Stainless 1911.They're very well constructed with nice zippers and lots of padding. They're a vast improvement over the cheap nylon ones you could buy for a few bucks less.I'll probably buy more of these for my other pistols. The only problem is telling what's in what case!

Made like a Boyt?
Seems to be made like my other Boyt gun rugs from years ago.Except don't like that the rivet on one end is exposed on the interior. A fiber optic front sight destroyer. Barrel scratcher.Don't understand why others are OK with a piece of metal exposed on inside of case. It's a turn off for me.You could get a larger than needed case so there's plenty of space to protect against contact.Made in Korea
