Pretty cool, BUT…
The good….Got this for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day, framed it and added a bottle of the bourbon listed. We both love bourbon so we are going to only mark the ones we try together. He loves it, and it looks awesome.The bad…. Went to an upscale jazz bar a couple nights ago showed them the list (the picture from Amazon) and asked what they had that was their top pick to try right now. In the Amazon picture, the top full row 3rd from left is Old Forester. In the Amazon picture the bottle shown is Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. Definitely belongs on this list, and that is the one we tried. Got home, scratched ours off and the bottle pictured on ours is the standard Old Forester bottle. Very disappointing that it isn’t accurate!!Even worse….As our bartender was looking at the list he pointed out several listed that are no longer being produced, haven’t been in a long time and are virtually impossible to get anymore….and if we were to find them it would be thousands of dollars to get our hands on a bottle. A glass somewhere is definitely not possible.We feel like the list should be currently available bourbons since the point is to scratch them as you try them. We are pretty bummed now knowing we likely will never be able to fully complete the poster.The makers of this should really update their information to be current and make sure the images match the names!!
