Works great after heat treatment for Kimber TLE RL
Im a LEO and just got this for daily carry of a Kimber Custom TLE/RL II. First thing out of the bag the holster seemed to fit the gun well but when I put in on with pants the gun would not come out of the holster. With my belt cinched tight the pistol was biting into the indention around the trigger guard. It also seemed to be snagging on the indention on the slide cutout. I took my butane lighter and slowly heated these two areas. I placed my finger inside and as soon as I felt the smallest amount of heat I stopped and inserted the pistol. I then gave the pistol alittle outward pressure against the kydex of the holster causing the two areas to reform and take a slightly less aggressive hold on the pistol. After two treatments the holster draws and holsters great without any more snags. This is not the first time I have had to custom fit a holster so I did not take off any stars. I imagine it is pretty hard to make a holster that fits every 1911 out there and it was not a hard fix. Do not be deterred just take it slow if you have to do the same.I found I like the holster how I received it in a high carry mode. It holds my pistol tight to the side and even with a 10rnd Chip mag in conceals well with just a tshirt. Im a muscular guy with wide shoulders and a narrow waist so that helps. As for comfort I believe this is the most comfortable IWB holster I have bought to date especially for a 1911. The hooks are wide apart and keeps the holster in place and doesn't pull to badly on my pants. The gun is heavy but with the wide hooks and the leather body shield it feels great and Im now going to be getting another one for my Glocks. I really like the high carry position and think its going to be much more comfortable on the motorcycle than my other holsters.

Good or Better than other brands (I've got a box full of Holsters UNUSED)
Got my 1st GKT used from a private seller, I liked it for my G23/G27 so when I went 1911 I figured why not stick with what works.Got this one from AWD (Amazon Warehouse Deals) for a STEAL Said it was "used like new". Ok I'm still trying to figure out where the "used" part is. Don't be afraid to purchase AWD "used like new".There are many IWB's of this style out there and each one claim to be the BEST...whatever!TIP: Per the instructions DO NOT USE thread locker (I didn't read directions, never do). If you feel you MUST only use clear nail polish as per instructions but that won't really be necessary

A Prince Maybe; Not a King
The King Tuk holster is one of the most comfortable on the market, but that does not make it "King." The slight forward cant helps to keep the majority of the grip, which is the hardest to conceal, forward rather than straight up and down like a lot of holsters. The holster will hold any length of 1911-based pistols from 3" to 5" barrels. The Para Ordinance P14.45 fits perfectly in this holster, even with its wide grip. The "Combat" cut protects the pistol from sweat while protecting the user from the hard edges of the pistol and affording the operator a good purchase on the pistol while removing the firearm from the holster. The holster is designed to work with tension; tension being the pressure that the body places against the backing of the holster and which helps keep the firearm in the holster. The more the tension, the tighter the fit of the holster to the firearm. This also means that the operator should consider a well-made belt for added tension by pulling the holster into the body. The twin, screw-mounted clips hold the holster firmly on the belt. I prefer; however a single screw in the clip to allow the clip to rotate slightly on the holster as the body moves while maintaining a positive hold on the belt. I also prefer a rough-out backing to help keep the holster in place. The Kydex portion of the holster is thick, well formed, and well secured to the backing. There are no sharp edges and it adequately protects the trigger so I have no problem carrying "Condition 1" with this holster. You will find; however, that if your pistol has an extended safety, the safety will eventually cut into the top layer of leather. This might cause some premature wear over time. However, it is also a plus as the holster develops an "indent" for the safety and may prevent it from coming "off-safe" without the operator's knowledge. I would prefer a single, thick piece of backing to the double-layer of the King Tuk but I still find the King Tuk more than adequate for its purpose of housing a pistol until I need it. The top layer is glued and stitched to the rear backing and the stitching appears well done.At first, while stiff, the holster eventually molds itself to the wearer's body contours and becomes more comfortable over time. The wearer can adjust the holster up or down easily. Out of the four King Tuk holsters that I own, I have not had to change the adjustment from the factory setting, as the top edge of the holster is just above the belt line and the forward cant is a plus. For an IWB holster, the lower the better; especially for birds who have a 6-foot wingspan like I have. The width of the holster is also a plus for comfort as well as stabilizing the holster. All in all, the King Tuk is a good IWB holster at a reasonable cost. While it may not be a "King" of IWB holsters, it certainty is at least a "Prince" among them.

30 position and need a pant size bigger to be comfortable. Personally
Aside from the 1911 being a long gun to cary, this holster performs exactly as you would expect. Holds the gun secure, yet reholstering isn't an issue, even without loosing up the belt. I usually carry at the 3:30 position and need a pant size bigger to be comfortable. Personally, I took out one set of screws so the clips would be more giving, as it sort of dug into my side with both screws left in. Not enough of an issue to affect the rating though.

I love Galco KingTuck
*Can NOT remove pistol from holster while it is full mounted IWB like normal, faulty item dot giving a real review* Talking to Galco, I just sent a message to you from your own site about this purchase today as well. Get back to me by email or here. I can come by your shop to have an adjustment made if needed. Would like to. If you can fix this, I will change this review... asap. We all know satisfaction through poor reviews are the most important this on the planet apparently... so here we are, I don't like this game but I'm playing it :D

concealable holster a must!
This holster works perfect. Retains the weapon well and conceals it with little to no printing. You can even wear just a T-shirt without a problem. The holster will be a bit stiff for a few days. Try wearing it around the house for a week or so to break it in. I wore mine, with my firearm unloaded ,while taking a nap on the couch or in my bed so that my body heat will mold it.
